The Associate Degree in Health Sciences provides an introduction to health sciences, exploring both the individual and public view of health in Australia.

In this associate degree, you'll develop a core understanding of human biology, health and nutrition.

Once you have established the principles of health and health management, you will begin to explore chronic disease, evidence-based health practice, health promotion, and more. The Graduate Diploma in Journalism is designed to enhance your undergraduate qualification with focused study in journalism. This one-year diploma sets you up for a career as a journalist by allowing you to explore all forms of contemporary journalism and put modern practice into its legal, ethical and social context. 

As part of the curriculum, you will present and produce live radio news for community radio station RRR and our live-to-air television news program, Newsline, as well as create text and data reports for our publication The City Journal.

You will work individually with our work placement coordinator to find at least one internship as part of your study.

Upon completing this diploma, you will have developed the skills and knowledge necessary for an entry-level position in journalism and in doing so follow in the footsteps of many of Australia’s award-winning journalists.

The Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) (Honours) supports and develops your capacity as a practicing artist and active researcher in the field of contemporary art.

This degree is designed for students who have successfully completed a three-year degree in contemporary art or craft, or an equivalent field, and who wish to undertake a further year of study to focus exclusively on an individual project.

At this level of study, you will engage with high-level intensive subjects, deepening and enriching your practice through expertise, knowledge and criticality.

You will be guided through personalised mentorship and individual supervision, as you are introduced to practice-led research and research methodologies.

A flexible curriculum provides opportunities for you to develop an individual project and to further your knowledge and capability for professional or highly skilled art practice, and/or further learning at a postgraduate level.

This degree offers insight into the social, political and ethical aspects of law within Australia and other countries and develops skills in law and alternative dispute resolution practices.

You'll be prepared for employment in private law firms, government, corporations, tribunals, courts, NGOs and community legal services.
You will gain knowledge and skills in legal research and practice, critical thinking, policy analysis, civil and criminal law, international human rights and alternative dispute resolution processes. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of the legal system and become better equipped to create a more just and responsible world.

The Master of Science (Aviation) opens up many and varied career opportunities for suitably educated and motivated professionals. This degree is focused on developing your skills to succeed in this exciting and dynamic industry.

The Master of Design may be undertaken in a project or thesis mode. This decision is made in consultation with your supervisor.

The Diploma of Conservation and Land Management will introduce you to the skills used by land managers, park rangers, site assessors, water quality assessors and conservation staff.

You'll learn how to survey animals and plants, monitor waterways, assess and restore natural sites, and undertake cultural studies relating to land management.

You will also go on field trips to a variety of locations around Melbourne, as well as overnight excursions to places such as Heywood and Barmah Forest.

The Associate Degree in Applied Science has been designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career in the rapidly-advancing fields of biotechnology and biomedicine.

Working largely in a laboratory setting, you will learn essential skills in problem solving and teamwork to help you work effectively in industry. Along with leading genres like fiction, screen and digital writing, you’ll become an adaptable writer by learning the skills to adjust to a constantly changing industry, spending deep time with your creative work, trying experiments, and gaining new knowledge. A flair for creative expression will be complemented by proficiency in the business of writing, allowing you to understand the publishing process and learn the skills required to become a freelance writer, collaborator or creative entrepreneur, across multiple media platforms.
