Focus on design
You will focus intensively on the practice of design itself, developing advanced, specialised techniques for creative and collaborative work. Projects are curated around key sites of urban change locally and globally and engage with the professional and community networks invested in their future. 

You will learn to creatively integrate expertise from related urban disciplines into design proposals, promoting alternative models for future city-building. This program is designed to nurture designers who would like to advance their career and develop innovative approaches to their practice.

The Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) / Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) combines two highly respected degrees to give you a unique, broad grounding across both areas.

This degree will increase your knowledge and understanding of human development, and how such factors interact within individual, group, organisational, community and policy contexts. You will be prepared to think critically about the social world and to influence change through your practice, advocacy, or research. Social workers and psychologists often work side-by-side in organisations where a balancing act of expertise in both areas is required.

You will be prepared for employment in general social work practice and settings requiring an understanding of psychology. You will be equipped to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to address complex social problems.

This social work and psychology double degree combines the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) and the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology).

In the Diploma of Information Technology you will be guided by experienced teachers with extensive industry experience to develop a project portfolio designed to help launch a career in IT.

As part of your study in a world-class university environment, you will learn how to:

You will learn how to install, operate and troubleshoot medium enterprise routers and switches, design user experience (UX) solutions, build dynamic websites, design and integrate databases, design, build and test network servers, and more. In the Master of Artificial Intelligence, you’ll learn to design and implement systems and applications in high-tech facilities, such as our newly developed Artificial Intelligence Lab.

The Master of Artificial Intelligence offers two stream options. In the project stream, you complete an AI postgraduate project and choose two electives from both AI and IT. In the research stream, you complete a research methods module, write a minor thesis, and select two electives.

We have been rated above world standard for our research in the field of AI and Image Processing. This course is among the most specialised in the country, with few other degrees focused on AI theory and applications in today’s climate. The Master of Design may be undertaken in a project or thesis mode. This decision is made in consultation with your supervisor.

This unique degree provides specialist training in computer-generated design with particular emphasis on game studies and art practice.

You'll study design, narrative, imaging, modelling, 2D and 3D animation, concept art, and game environments.
