Lecturers and academics all have strong industry relationships and experience, and the learning environment simulates professional practice within the writing, editing and publishing industries. The studios comprise an internship day, weekend intensives, weekly face-to-face seminars and student-directed learning.

In RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours), you'll learn the processes behind the production and distribution of electricity.

Electrical engineering at RMIT is about more than just learning the theories behind the discipline. It's about putting those theories into practice to solve problems. You will focus intensively on the practice of design itself, developing advanced, specialised techniques for creative and collaborative work. Projects are curated around key sites of urban change locally and globally and engage with the professional and community networks invested in their future. 

You will learn to creatively integrate expertise from related urban disciplines into design proposals, promoting alternative models for future city-building. This program is designed to nurture designers who would like to advance their career and develop innovative approaches to their practice.

This combination of an accredited psychology major with an applied criminology major prepares you for a variety of roles where dealing with people is paramount.

Have you ever wondered why people engage in offending behaviour? In the Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology, you will develop an understanding of the psychology of crime, be able to conduct forensic interviews and provide case management for offenders, victims and clients with complex needs.
You’ll learn key communication, risk assessment, behavioural analysis and research skills and gain a strong understanding of psychological theories and practice.

It teaches you to investigate contemporary, cultural and environmental aspects of professional furniture design practice.

In the Master of Artificial Intelligence, you’ll learn to design and implement systems and applications in high-tech facilities, such as our newly developed Artificial Intelligence Lab.

The Master of Artificial Intelligence offers two stream options. In the project stream, you complete an AI postgraduate project and choose two electives from both AI and IT. In the research stream, you complete a research methods module, write a minor thesis, and select two electives.

We have been rated above world standard for our research in the field of AI and Image Processing. This course is among the most specialised in the country, with few other degrees focused on AI theory and applications in today’s climate.
