In this degree, you will learn the multifaceted practice of professional Industrial Design, from the blue-sky activities of idea-generation and invention to the rigorous knowledge of engineering science. You'll learn through making as you get hands-on with advanced technologies, including 3D printing and other methods of cutting-edge manufacturing through to traditional craft/hand-making technologies and techniques. You will be prepared for careers ranging from design for mass-production to small scale manufacture and everything in between. All courses are taught under the guidance of our industry experienced teaching staff, and everything is viewed through the lens of sustainability and best professional practice.

This degree sits within the discipline of Architecture, Design and Planning and many of the core courses sit within the discipline of Mechanical Engineering. This is a testament to the practical and interdisciplinary nature of your study. You'll be taught electronics, mechanics, thermofluids and more by engineering specialists, while also being taught design skills, digital modelling, 3D printing and programming by design professionals. This program helps you to develop and further your career in public health practice, research and/or management. It allows you to re-orientate your work interests in health to disease prevention and health promotion and is widely recognised both nationally and internationally as the public health credential for careers in public health.

These programs focus on the socio-ecological model of public health that emphasises and analyses the important interactions between the social, biological, economic and environmental determinants of health. They enable you to apply this analytical skill set to plan, implement and evaluate population based interventions that protect and promote health.

The program has a strong focus on international health and provides you with the opportunity to focus your public health studies by selecting a range of electives in areas such as public health nutrition, health promotion, climate change, international health, environmental health, and health services management.

Four main areas of study make up this degree: sport science, sport management and marketing, health promotion and sports coaching. This degree is the first step towards a career in Dentistry. You will learn from extensive hands-on training from the first year of your studies.

You will study and work alongside registered Dentists and Dental specialists in real life settings including in regional areas and in our modern dental clinic and specialised laboratories in the new Griffith Health Centre. You will enhance your skills through professional practice placements.

This degree, designed for high-achieving secondary school leavers, provides the opportunity for you to progress directly into our Doctor of Medicine (5099)*.

In your first year, you will be introduced to the basic sciences underpinning medical science - anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, genes and disease, law and ethics, microbiology, physiology, and epidemiology. You will also undertake a course in "interpersonal skills" which provides you with knowledge and skills in communication and interaction with patients.

In second year, you will study these areas in greater depth and take medically focused courses in immunology, infectious disease, pharmacology, metabolism, structural biochemistry, and molecular genetics, as well as undertaking a capstone course (Integrated Medical Sciences) which integrates and applies the knowledge of basic sciences learned in your first and second years to solving clinical problems.
