In this degree, you will learn the multifaceted practice of professional Industrial Design, from the blue-sky activities of idea-generation and invention to the rigorous knowledge of engineering science. You'll learn through making as you get hands-on with advanced technologies, including 3D printing and other methods of cutting-edge manufacturing through to traditional craft/hand-making technologies and techniques. You will be prepared for careers ranging from design for mass-production to small scale manufacture and everything in between. This degree sits within the discipline of Architecture, Design and Planning and many of the core courses sit within the discipline of Mechanical Engineering. In this degree, you will develop the skills needed to work as an occupational therapist to deliver life changing outcomes. You will learn how to enable people to do the activities - occupations - they need or want to do in order to live a meaningful life, but have difficulty with due to illness, injury or other disadvantages.

You will study occupational therapy theory and practice, occupational science, and other sciences such as psychology, sociology and anatomy. The Master of Civil Engineering/Master of Engineering Project Management provides students with advanced study across the breadth of specialisations in Civil Engineering and Project Management. It is designed to extend and deepen the knowledge and skills gained from an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. It is ideal for professional civil engineers who aspire to develop their design skills and advance their capabilities to analyse and solve structural problems and manage projects across a wide range of real-world civil engineering applications.

The program aims to bring students to a level of maturity in their understanding and practice of scholarly work within the Computer Science discipline as well as providing training in the techniques, skills and theoretical background necessary for subsequent postgraduate research.

This program helps you to develop and further your career in public health practice, research and/or management. It allows you to re-orientate your work interests in health to disease prevention and health promotion and is widely recognised both nationally and internationally as the public health credential for careers in public health.

These programs focus on the socio-ecological model of public health that emphasises and analyses the important interactions between the social, biological, economic and environmental determinants of health. They enable you to apply this analytical skill set to plan, implement and evaluate population based interventions that protect and promote health.

The program has a strong focus on international health and provides you with the opportunity to focus your public health studies by selecting a range of electives in areas such as public health nutrition, health promotion, climate change, international health, environmental health, and health services management.

In this specialised double degree, students will learn about the causes of crime and society's response to it, whilst developing a core of IT technical knowledge related to Information Systems and Network Security.

Graduates of the program will have a broad and coherent body of knowledge in the fields of criminology and criminal justice, including an in-depth understanding of various theoretical frameworks underpinning the study of criminal behaviour, victimisation and criminal justice responses to crime, and crime prevention.

Additionally, students will have a broad and coherent body of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) knowledge, with depth in the underlying principles and concepts in ICT problem solving (i.e., how to use modelling methods and processes to understand problems, handle abstraction and design solutions), ICT professional knowledge (i.e., ethics, professionalism, teamwork concepts and issues, interpersonal communication, societal issues/legal issues/privacy, history and status of discipline), technology building (i.e., programming and human-computer interaction), and/or technology resources (i.e., hardware and software fundamentals, data and information management, and networking).

This degree is designed for someone who has a recognised Dental Technology Bachelor degree who is ready to upgrade their qualification.to work directly with patients. It will suit someone interested in working as an independent clinician to diagnose, design, manufacture and fit removable dentures. Graduates from the Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology/Bachelor of Dental Technology at Griffith University should apply for this degree to gain a Dental Prosthetist qualification and will receive advanced standing towards the program.

Through coursework and supervised clinical practice, Dental Prosthetists are educated in all facets of removable dental prosthetics in an inter-professional setting, learning and working alongside other dental and health care professionals. This degree is not suited to applicants pursuing a Dentistry qualification and is not open to applicants holding a dentistry qualification.

Dental Prosthetic students practice alongside Dentistry students to develop communication and collaboration skills in individual cases. Whether this is inserting and monitoring immediate dentures or witnessing a variety of complex dental procedures. This process is managed through the Team Based Treatment Planning Process which develops patient referral skills.

The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Science is an 80 credit point program that provides an alternative route for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to apply for admission to MPhil or PhD candidature subject to fulfilment of requirements for candidature as specified in the Higher Degree Research policy and successful completion of the confirmation procedure. The grade achieved will determine entry to either a PhD or MPhil candidature.

The Program Director will be responsible for the overall supervision of the student and monitoring their progress throughout the program.

Students may choose to exit the Graduate Diploma program (after successfully completing the specified courses) with the Graduate Certificate in Research Studies in Science.
