Agribusiness has historically been a part of Australia’s social fabric and a major driver of economic growth. The Australian agribusiness sector is well positioned to capitalise on the diverse opportunities presented by global population growth and subsequent demand for food and fibre, particularly in Asia. The Agribusiness Major provides you with broad-based understanding of the sector and considers the particular factors influencing its relative success. It provides an introduction to animal and agricultural sciences and factors influencing decisions regarding land and water management.
