The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. The Master of Health Leadership and Management/Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence (Extension) enables you to specialise in both infectious disease intelligence and health management. With this degree, you will develop research skills and apply them while undertaking a scholarly project as part of the program.

During your studies, you will gain a sophisticated understanding of a complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge including: infectious diseases intelligence; leadership and workforce management; strategic planning and change management; quality improvement and health program and policy design; and implementation and evaluation.

Criminal Justice and Criminology

Computer Science is the study of the design, construction and use of computer systems. The Bachelor of Science (Honours) program in Computer Science and Engineering is a 1 year full-time or 2 year part-time award undertaken by eligible students after completion of a 3 year Bachelor of Science program in a relevant discipline and offers students an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the discipline through the completion of advanced coursework and a research thesis.

Medical science is the foundation that the practice of medicine is built on. This degree delves into how the human body functions and responds to disease and drug treatments. It incorporates facets of several scientific disciplines to provide you with an extensive understanding of the human body.

The Bachelor of Medical Science explores:

• This degree provides the basis for a career in biomedical research and is also an appropriate first degree if you’re planning to progress to graduate medical or paramedical degrees.

Medical Pharmacology

Explore the effect that drugs have on living tissues and the normal body functions of humans. This major looks at the efficacy of drugs, the ability of the body to metabolise them and the toxicology/side effects of drugs. Professional positions for pharmacologists often occur in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries in the testing and research of drugs as well as in administration and management.

When you undertake this double degree you’ll graduate with two separate degrees that provide a diverse but complementary knowledge and skill-base.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) component of this degree will give you a broad education in engineering so you can envision the different ways computer science can improve various engineering disciplines. Computer Science is the study of the design, construction and use of computer systems. As a computer scientist you’ll use and create technology to solve problems and improve interactions between people and computers.

The Computer Science component emphasises comprehension of the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware. You’ll study the representation of data and data structures and the design of algorithms, as well as the creation of hardware and software tools and the role of non-computing elements in the design and development process.

Environmental issues such as climate change and sustainability are at the forefront of modern world challenges. The Bachelor of Environmental Management will equip you to make a positive impact by creating sustainable solutions. This degree explores how environmental science relates to the regulation, economic and social dimensions of environmental policy and management. Our graduates demonstrate skills in observing, analysing, experimenting and discovering the world around us.
