This double degree is for engineers in the fields of physical metallurgy, materials engineering, ceramic engineering or process metallurgy who want to become skilled in technical management and more aware of the economic and social aspects of the engineering profession. The Materials Science component teaches you theoretical and practical skills that will put you at the forefront of innovation in developing materials that are lighter, greener and stronger. The Commerce component provides you with a fundamental understanding of general business principles and allows you to develop specialist knowledge in a business area of your choice. Practicing using the latest cameras, audio recorders, microphones, lights, dollies and gimbals – you’ll build a strong portfolio of audio-visual work you can leverage professionally. You’ll also have access to advanced multimedia labs, digital video production and post-production facilities, animation and audio production studios. This includes our Esme Timbery Creative Practice Lab, which has a system of computer-controlled amplification for the perfect performance environment.

UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

Medical Pharmacology

Explore the effect that drugs have on living tissues and the normal body functions of humans. This major looks at the efficacy of drugs, the ability of the body to metabolise them and the toxicology/side effects of drugs. Professional positions for pharmacologists often occur in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries in the testing and research of drugs as well as in administration and management.

This intensive program provides a pathway to advanced industry opportunities, whether you have a background in design and media practice or if you wish to enter these fields from other professional backgrounds. Our degree focuses on integrated and multidisciplinary studios that will underpin the development of professional skills, capabilities and confidence needed for leadership and to dynamically support innovation in freelance, project or design, media and technology business contexts.

Studio-based courses enable you to focus on a specific area of design and digital media practice or put together a suite of courses from across design, material practice and digital media.

The UNSW Master of Public Policy and Governance is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree, that applies a social science perspective to real-world questions of policy, research and management in modern organisations. Through this master’s degree, you’ll prepare for roles that require research and analytical skills, and a practical appreciation of the processes of policymaking, policy analysis, and policy implementation.
