The Master of Global Health (Extension) provides you with the advanced knowledge and technical capacities to contribute to disease control, health promotion, health services development and public health research across a wide range of populations and countries. The Master of Reproductive Medicine has a proven track record in providing exceptional postgraduate level education across all subjects related to the study of reproductive medicine. As the uptake of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) around the world continues to increase, with over 12 million births and over 25 million cycles of IVF having now been completed, the applicability of this course to clinical and allied practice is obvious.

There is a growing number of practitioners who are specialising in this area. As a specialist in reproductive health, you’ll have the opportunity to explore careers as a GP, a family planning practitioner or a specialist gynaecologist working in menopause and infertility. You can also specialise in nursing and counselling or as a biological scientist.  

Complications with HIV/STIs, infertility and unplanned pregnancy are consistent health issues that require addressing through new reproductive technologies and specialised professionals. This degree will give you a better understanding of the challenges and issues surrounding sexual and reproductive health around the world.

This degree is designed for students who are passionate about both the Law and Science, and are interested in learning about the connection between the two.

Environmental engineers focus on the impact on the natural world by engineering activities. They combine their broad knowledge of engineering and environmental processes in identifying environmental problems and then developing effective solutions. Environmental Engineering embraces parts of Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on management, system design, water, geotechnical and transport engineering. Media, Intellectual Property & Technology Law
New media is becoming an increasingly dominant form of mass communication, challenging established frameworks with disruptive technology. Individuals from various backgrounds must now understand how the law affects and regulates their activities in this environment. Media laws influence how people communicate and how both old and new media operate. To cope with the regulatory impact of this increased reliance on the digital sphere, established legal doctrines such as defamation and privacy are being used in new ways. 

Meanwhile, intellectual property laws incentivise new creations, create value in the form of property with legally enforceable rights, and limit how others may access and use those creations. Fast-emerging developments such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain and bio-technologies raise questions about the legal rights and responsibilities that accompany the usage of new technologies. 

This Master of Laws specialisation develops a depth of knowledge through a strong theoretical and practical understanding of the different laws and regulatory issues that can arise in the context of new and old media, intellectual property and technology law.
