The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

Marketing (Major)
UNSW’s marketing courses balance theory with practice. As you learn marketing concepts and advertising concepts, you’ll have the opportunity to apply these through embedded professional experiences and practical assignments. Bioinformatics is where computing and the life sciences meet. It involves the development of technologies to work with and manage the huge volumes of genetic information being generated.

Bioinformatics is at the convergence of computing and the life sciences, and involves the development of technologies for storing, extracting, organising, analysing, interpreting and using the growing volume of genetic information being generated.The need to process and analyse vast amounts of information requires advances in both software technologies and hardware architectures.

In this degree you'll learn the foundation disciplines of bioinformatics, which includes biology (biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics), computing (algorithms, databases and programming), mathematics and statistics. You'll gain the skills to design and implement software for activities such as identifying the genes affected in specific cancer types.

This double degree is designed to allow students to gain accreditation as both Engineers and Surveyors, which gives them flexibility in their future careers.The Civil Engineering degree provides students with an excellent grounding in theory and applications, through the study of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transport engineering and water engineering, as well as construction and management.

The Surveying component prepares graduates for opportunities in the various branches of Surveying and the numerous Spatial Information disciplines. The degree covers general scientific and IT principles, as well as specialised Surveying and Spatial Information topics.

Everything we use is made of materials, yet only a handful of these materials occur naturally. UNSW Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering) is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree that’s professionally accredited by Engineers Australia. This degree includes an integrated industrial training component and courses to develop your technical knowledge and skills in engineering management, analysis and design to ensure you graduate career-ready and accredited

You’ll undertake an extensive research project in a specific area of interest to you. Through this project you’ll learn valuable skills in project planning and management and the critical analysis, interpretation and communication of results. The structure of this degree also provides the opportunity for students to specialise in an area of interest while gaining a depth of knowledge across a broad range of topics, including:

The UNSW Master of Engineering Science in Biomedical Engineering is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree offered by the School of Biomedical Engineering. You’ll gain the expertise to work in influential areas related to human health, like biomechanics, medical device design, drug-delivery systems, radiotherapies, telemedicine, robotics, and cell and tissue engineering.  

The Master of Engineering Science (Biomedical Engineering) is designed for graduate engineers. As part of a globally renowned engineering faculty, you’ll learn to apply your knowledge of engineering to drive solutions that support human health.  

The program is designed for students who already have an accredited engineering degree and want to shift their career towards biomedical engineering. You’ll choose up to four courses from relevant disciplines such as electrical, chemical and mechanical engineering, as well as two foundation courses in the subject area.

If you have a degree or extensive professional experience in a related area, you can apply for credit of up to half the program.
