Dietetics is an allied health profession that applies the science of food and nutrition to optimise health, treat illnesses and prevent the onset of chronic diseases. A dietitian can help people manage health conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal diseases, obesity and food allergies. 

Food innovation examines all aspects of the food value chain from agriculture, food technology, food manufacturing and the retail sector, through to innovations and digital technologies. It looks at how we can improve the food system to address current and future food equity and sustainability challenges.

The Master of Actuarial Studies equips you with the data analytics and quantitative risk management training for an actuarial career, and careers in finance.

Through this degree, you’ll learn to apply advanced analytical techniques, deliver highly valued data analytics, and actionable insights. You’ll also develop a specialist quantitative skill set in actuarial models, financial mathematics, probability, machine learning / artificial intelligence analytics, and commerce. The program has also earned the University-Earned Credit (UEC) program status for Financial Mathematics (FM) exam and Statistics for Risk Modelling (SRM) exam. The Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) is a two-year full-time degree that'll help you develop the specialised skills and knowledge to build a successful career in Biomedical Engineering and gain a recognised accreditation. This degree is designed for students who don’t have a formal engineering accreditation but have an undergraduate degree in engineering, health or medical sciences.

When you study the Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) you'll expand your knowledge, skills and develop job prospects through a specialised study in the area of Biomedical Engineering. In this degree, you’ll learn about engineering applications in medicine including neuromodulation and bioinstrumentation, biomechanics and rehabilitation, tissue engineering, bioinformatics, as well as medical device design. As a part of your studies, you’ll also complete an open-ended research project.

You’ll be required to complete 60 days of industrial training in Biomedical Engineering and/or other Engineering fields, through this you’ll receive industry exposure and professional practice. Your degree will include a compulsory Master's Thesis which adds a research component to your study. You’ll graduate as an accredited Biomedical Engineer, with an Engineers Australia accreditation. After completing this postgraduate degree you’ll meet national and international benchmarks to take your career to the next level.
