UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

This intensive program provides a pathway to advanced industry opportunities, whether you have a background in design and media practice or if you wish to enter these fields from other professional backgrounds. Studio-based courses enable you to focus on a specific area of design and digital media practice or put together a suite of courses from across design, material practice and digital media.

Explore the ways our criminal justice and mental health systems interact. Forensic mental health services assess and treat people with mental health problems who have a history of or are at risk of criminal offending. Professionals in this field might also work in civil legal settings, such as the family court. Forensic mental health is a major consideration for professionals in a range of fields, including medicine, law, nursing, criminology, psychology, occupational therapy and social work.

The Master of Forensic Mental Health was established in response to a local need for trained professionals to work in this expanding field. This progressive degree brings together a diverse cross-section of experiences and perspectives from mental health professionals, members of the legal profession and those involved in the criminal justice system. Through live video discussions, students can exchange viewpoints and insights in an interdisciplinary setting.

Dispute Resolution
Conflict and its resolution play a significant role in the lives of individuals, organisations and the professionals who support them. This Master of Laws specialisation will provide you with broad coverage of dispute resolution processes that occur outside the courts. If you're seeking a specialist qualification in dispute resolution theory and practice, this specialisation provides a comprehensive and academically rigorous postgraduate program. 

The program will enable you to develop skills in identifying the underlying issues that shape and inform a range of dispute resolution processes and the ability to think creatively about approaches and solutions to them. The courses, most of which are delivered via experiential, intensive programs, promote interdisciplinary study through exposure to dispute resolution practitioners in various fields.

The SCIF3199 Science Work Placement course gives you the opportunity to gain practical work experience through an internship. Previous work placement students have interned with IT companies, start-ups, government departments and large biomedical and biotechnology companies. Along with new professional skills and connections, you’ll also gain course credit for your work placement.

• The SCIF2041 Research Internship course gives you the opportunity to complete a short theoretical or experimental research project in a world-leading research team supervised by a member of academic staff. This double degree combines critical business knowledge from the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with aviation management skills, setting you up for a successful, global career in the aviation industry. 

When you combine studies in business and aviation you can supercharge your career in the aviation industry with a unique mix of skills. The commerce component of this double degree provides you with a fundamental understanding of general business principles and allows you to develop specialist knowledge in a business area of your choice.

The aviation management degree shares a common academic core with the flying stream, replacing flight training with a range of courses in management areas such as operations management, aviation economics, law and regulations, airline marketing and safety. Students are exposed to current aviation topics and often work in teams to solve contemporary air transport problems. Learning exercises range from operating a start-up airline in a management simulation to exploring the cognitive abilities of humans in the fast-developing environment of aviation.
