The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Information Systems(Major)
In the digital era, information systems are critical to every business’s success. Companies rely on information technology to run their businesses, drive innovation, and safeguard their future. You’ll gain the skills and experience to design, develop, and implement business databases, enterprise systems, social media, and more.

Chemical Product Engineering is the new frontier for chemical engineers. It incorporates the technical and entrepreneurial skills needed to innovate, develop and design new chemical and consumer products for large and small businesses.

Chemical Engineering has an emphasis on product design and development. A major focus in this field is on new materials and breakthrough technologies that overcome high costs and scarcity to create value-adding solutions. Chemical Engineers work in areas from cosmetics, drugs and solar cells to advance biomedical devices by identifying customer needs and creating products that meet those needs.

You'll build on the study of chemical and physical sciences and processes to create the types of products that can be commercialised in a number of fields such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural chemicals and foods. Through academic and project work as well as applying your skills during 60 days of approved industry training, you'll graduate with the tools and skills you need to create products across a wide range of industries.

The Master of Applied Economics is a flexible two-year degree designed to prepare professional economists. You'll graduate with advanced knowledge and practical skills in economics, with broad expertise in research and strong communication skills.

A practicum is available for students seeking work experience in the field of economics. This program is delivered face-to-face and online to allow for most flexibility and accommodate various learning styles.

The Master of Health Leadership and Management (Extension)/Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence degree enables you to specialise in both infectious disease intelligence and health management and develop research skills and apply them while undertaking a scholarly project.

You will be provided with advanced disciplinary knowledge and skills to undertake infectious diseases prevention and control, and health services management roles in government, community and health service settings in Australia and internationally. The degree will equip you with the specialised skills and leadership needed for professional practice in control of infectious diseases and for research and evidence based professional practice.

The program fosters judgment-ready practitioners who can contribute to improving population health and work across a range of contexts including ministries and departments of health, government and non-government and voluntary organisations, primary care and community healthcare services in both public and private sectors.

Surveying supports all construction activity and infrastructure engineering in urban and rural environments, as well as mapping and monitoring the natural environment. Activities include defining land boundaries, engineering and mining surveying, offshore surveys, digital mapping, precise positioning and property development.

Surveying is a perfect combination of indoors and outdoors. You'll learn how to use a range of hi-tech tools such as GPSs, laser scanners, mapping drones and surveying robots to create high definition 3D models of the built and natural environment. You'll also learn how to apply maths and powerful software to deliver products for a range of applications. To get you work ready, you'll apply these skills through 60 days of approved industry training.85

The UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Sustainable Systems) postgraduate degree is designed to help you specialise and gain a deeper knowledge across a broad range of disciplines. You’ll examine how engineers discover holistic and effective solutions to unsustainable practices in the modern world.

The degree features a range of exciting topics including sustainable systems engineering, industrial ecology, sustainability and environmental sciences, and sustainability management. It also includes a number of targeted courses in renewable energy engineering and energy efficiency and promotes flexible learning as a keystone of the program.

The typical two-year degree, sitting within the UNSW School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, comprises 16 courses. It features complex, open-ended enquiry-based projects as well as many other opportunities to help you become a leader in the field. The UNSW Master of Engineering Science in Petroleum Engineering is a two-year postgraduate degree in the School of Minerals and Energy Resource Engineering. You’ll gain the accreditation for a career in petroleum engineering, the oil and gas industry and other related sectors.
