The UNSW Bachelor of Fine Arts/Engineering (Honours) is a double-degree that can be completed in 5.7 years full-time, or the part-time equivalent.  

Through the Bachelor of Fine Arts, you'll explore your artistic ignite your creativity and explore your practice, build technical skills and knowledge, and learn from experts in practical and theoretical classes. With distinct and focused specialisations in music, animation and moving image, art theory, and visual arts – you can focus deeply on the creative field that inspires you.

Through the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), you’ll gain a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing that will prepare you to hone your expertise in an engineering discipline. The type of engineer you’ll become often depends on which of the 19 engineering specialisations you choose.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. The Master of Actuarial Studies (Extension) equips you with the data analytics and quantitative risk management training for success in an actuarial career, or a career in finance.

The extension program adds four courses to the Master of Actuarial Studies. This allows you to complete the professionally accredited courses to become an actuary, as well as to broaden your knowledge through electives in actuarial studies, risk management, business, or options in mathematics and in computer science. The program is accredited by the Actuaries Institute.

The program has also earned the University-Earned Credit (UEC) program status for Financial Mathematics (FM) exam and Statistics for Risk Modelling (SRM) exam. This UEC program facilitates the pathway for students who pursue the Society of Actuaries (SOA) profession by providing opportunities to earn credit for SOA exams.

The Master of Information Technology provides a broad-based IT education, and more specialised knowledge in up to two areas, enabling you to work in a range of positions in the IT industry.

If you qualify for advanced standing through Recognised Prior Learning you'll be able to complete both degrees up to a year and a half sooner meaning you could have two postgraduate degrees after just a year and a half.

The Master of Reproductive Medicine has a proven track record in providing exceptional postgraduate level education across all subjects related to the study of reproductive medicine. As the uptake of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) around the world continues to increase, with over 12 million births and over 25 million cycles of IVF having now been completed, the applicability of this course to clinical and allied practice is obvious.

There is a growing number of practitioners who are specialising in this area. As a specialist in reproductive health, you’ll have the opportunity to explore careers as a GP, a family planning practitioner or a specialist gynaecologist working in menopause and infertility. You can also specialise in nursing and counselling or as a biological scientist.  

Complications with HIV/STIs, infertility and unplanned pregnancy are consistent health issues that require addressing through new reproductive technologies and specialised professionals. The SCIF3199 Science Work Placement course gives you the opportunity to gain practical work experience through an internship.
