The Bachelor of Design/Bachelor of Media is a four-year double degree that shows you how to enlighten others with creative thinking and persuasive communications. Learn strategies to interest, inform, and inspire others while challenging conventions and designing new solutions to old problems.  

Whether your interest is in graphics, textiles, visualisation or object design, creating spaces or user experiences, rethinking everyday products and services, or writing code to develop future focused design ideas – you'll see how design can influence the future.

Media Studies (Major)
During your media studies programs at UNSW, you’ll learn how to demonstrate creativity, rigour, adaptability, independence and cultural reflexivity in the application of media studies concepts and methods. The Master of Actuarial Studies (Extension) equips you with the data analytics and quantitative risk management training for success in an actuarial career, or a career in finance.

The extension program adds four courses to the Master of Actuarial Studies. This allows you to complete the professionally accredited courses to become an actuary, as well as to broaden your knowledge through electives in actuarial studies, risk management, business, or options in mathematics and in computer science. The program is accredited by the Actuaries Institute.

The program has also earned the University-Earned Credit (UEC) program status for Financial Mathematics (FM) exam and Statistics for Risk Modelling (SRM) exam. This UEC program facilitates the pathway for students who pursue the Society of Actuaries (SOA) profession by providing opportunities to earn credit for SOA exams.

The Master of Public Health (Extension)/Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence enables you to specialise in both public health and infectious disease epidemiology, prevention and control and develop research skills in public health.
