This double degree is designed for students wishing to pursue a career in either Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) will provide you with a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing which give you knowledge and skills in your chosen engineering discipline specialisation.

Biomedical Engineering applies engineering principles to the development of technologies and solutions in a range of healthcare-related fields, including implantable bionics, drug delivery systems, medical imaging, radiotherapy, orthopaedic devices, robotic surgery, cell and tissue engineering, physical rehabilitation and others. This double degree is currently offered for select specialisations only.

When you study this degree you’ll graduate with a specialised knowledge in Biomedical Engineering and a related Engineering specialisation unique to your interests and professional aspirations. With two degrees you’ll increase your knowledge of engineering by studying across two disciplines, one being Biomedical Engineering.

The globally recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree is accredited by Engineers Australia and acknowledged by the Washington Accord.

This degree includes a practical component where you’ll apply your knowledge in practical settings through 60 days of approved industrial training in Australia or overseas. Industrial training will give you a taste of a real-world professional engineering setting and the hands-on experience to hit the ground running.

The Master of Professional Accounting (Extension) follows the structure of the Master of Professional Accounting but adds four extra courses in your choice of electives to further your knowledge. The UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Nuclear Engineering) is designed for students who want to understand nuclear concepts that form the foundation of our universe. Through this degree you’ll develop the skills to apply these concepts to a variety of industries today and the technologies of the future. This postgraduate degree teaches you the underpinning theory behind nuclear engineering techniques, technologies and processes.

Criminal Justice and Criminology
Crime and criminal justice are matters of pressing public concern and considerable controversy. Innovative technologies and justice practices may offer advantages and threats to due process and the integrity of the criminal justice system.  

The Criminal Justice and Criminology specialisation in the Master of Laws will provide you with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to research and analyse current debates, emerging problems, and new criminal law and criminal justice developments. The specialisation draws on the recognised expertise of UNSW in research and teaching of criminal justice and criminology, criminal law and procedure. You can also choose courses dealing with transnational developments, international criminal law and human rights, and the rapidly evolving sub-discipline of state crime.

The Psychological Science/Law double degree is a five-year program (full-time) and provides an opportunity to obtain two degrees suited to law students who also have an interest in the study of psychology.

The Law degree aims to develop graduates who have excellent analytical skills, a capacity for scholarly research, effective oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to personal and professional development, ethical practice and social responsibility.

The Law courses satisfy the requirements for the award of the professional LLB degree, while the Psychological Science component allows students to complete an accredited Psychology degree, with the option to apply for an additional Honours year in Psychology.

The School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications offers a five-year integrated degree leading to a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering (BE ME) in Electrical Engineering.
