The Master of Global Health (Extension) provides you with the advanced knowledge and technical capacities to contribute to disease control, health promotion, health services development and public health research across a wide range of populations and countries. This degree also includes a research project which will cultivate your critical thinking and communication skills as you explore contemporary health issues globally. The project enables students to gain valuable skills in project planning and management and learn methods to undertake the critical analysis, interpretation and communication of results.

Do you currently work in the underground hard rock or coal mining industry, in the field of strata control? Or is this an area you'd like to progress into? The Master of Mine Geotechnical Engineering is the postgraduate degree for you.

You'll receive a foundational education in fundamental principles of rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering, as well as practical strata control applications. This degree teaches you practical knowledge to become a mine strata control engineer.

This degree is designed for professionals working at mine sites and are offered in a flexible delivery format; many are available in distance mode with a limited number of face-to-face workshops/sessions. Assessments include practical site-based assignments, group work, interactive work and presentations.

Note: Some electives may be offered only every two years and international students are not eligible to enrol on a student visa

When you study Computational Design at UNSW, you’ll learn to approach challenges differently through design-thinking. Media Studies (Major)
During your media studies programs at UNSW, you’ll learn how to demonstrate creativity, rigour, adaptability, independence and cultural reflexivity in the application of media studies concepts and methods. On top of this, you will be able to critically analyse the evolving media landscape in relation to historical, social, political, material, and theoretical contexts, including settler colonialism.
