Master of Engineering in Biomedical
The Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) is a two-year full-time degree that'll help you develop the specialised skills and knowledge to build a successful career in Biomedical Engineering and gain a recognised accreditation. This degree is designed for students who don’t have a formal engineering accreditation but have an undergraduate degree in engineering, health or medical sciences.
When you study the Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) you'll expand your knowledge, skills and develop job prospects through a specialised study in the area of Biomedical Engineering. In this degree, you’ll learn about engineering applications in medicine including neuromodulation and bioinstrumentation, biomechanics and rehabilitation, tissue engineering, bioinformatics, as well as medical device design. As a part of your studies, you’ll also complete an open-ended research project.
You’ll be required to complete 60 days of industrial training in Biomedical Engineering and/or other Engineering fields, through this you’ll receive industry exposure and professional practice.
