The UNSW Bachelor of Commerce/Design is a double-degree that can be completed in 4 full-time, or the part-time equivalent.  

Through the Bachelor of Design, you can explore where your creativity takes you. The design skills you’ll learn can be applied across diverse contexts - to shape user experience, create furniture or jewellery, re-invent manufacturing machinery, write code to test industry-changing ideas, and more.

Through the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), you’ll learn in the classroom and the boardroom. You’ll gain essential business knowledge and professional experience, and build a digital portfolio to kick-start your career as you study. The program has been designed alongside industry to ensure you have what takes to thrive in the careers of the future.

The UNSW Bachelor of Arts is a three-year degree when studied full time. As you develop your worldview through personalised course combinations, you’ll define a future life purpose suited to your passions and skills.

The Master of Health Leadership and Management/Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence (Extension) enables you to specialise in both infectious disease intelligence and health management. With this degree, you will develop research skills and apply them while undertaking a scholarly project as part of the program.

During your studies, you will gain a sophisticated understanding of a complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge including: infectious diseases intelligence; leadership and workforce management; strategic planning and change management; quality improvement and health program and policy design; and implementation and evaluation.

The program fosters judgment-ready practitioners who can contribute to improving population health and work across a range of contexts including ministries and departments of health, government and non-government and voluntary organisations, primary care and community healthcare services in both public and private sectors.

UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Civil Engineering) is a two-year postgraduate degree in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Designed for students who have a four-year accredited engineering degree, this program will broaden your job prospects through cross-training, re-training or specialisation.

Computational Design (Major)

When you study Computational Design at UNSW, you’ll learn to approach challenges differently through design-thinking. You’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including 3D modelling, digital geometry and parametric design, responsive environments, AR and VR, and robotic and digital fabrication using 3D printers and laser cutters.

Through design thinking and computational design theory, you’ll hone critical-thinking and communication skills to create inclusive designs for diverse contexts. As part of our supportive Arts, Design & Architecture community, you’ll be encouraged to collaborate across disciplines, gain professional experience, and take advantage of programs that support entrepreneurship and innovation. You’ll have the opportunity to work on real-life projects set by UNSW’s partners in the built-environment, architecture and design industries such as Cox, Arup, Hassell, BVN, Bates Smart, PTW Architects, Grimshaw, Mott McDonald, and Aurecon.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. The field of Engineering is rapidly evolving. Quantum Engineering is a new approach to working with quantum technology. Quantum Engineering combines the broad skills of engineering with fundamental physics in a unique way that allows engineers to solve contemporary problems and engineer solutions for the future.  Quantum mechanics opens the doors for Quantum Engineers to leverage quantum physics to deliver unprecedented solutions to engineering problems.

Quantum Engineers specialise in how high-frequency, nanometer-scale electronics can be made to harness quantum nature. When you study Quantum Engineering at UNSW, you'll develop the skillset required for the next generation of microelectronics, microwave and telecommunications engineers.

In this bachelor's degree, you'll learn how to work with a range of quantum systems, from high-frequency signals to very small electronic circuits.

Our expert academics will teach you about novel systems where the quantum phenomenon is the core aspect such as quantum computers, quantum sensors and quantum communications. The SCIF3199 Science Work Placement course gives you the opportunity to gain practical work experience through an internship. Previous work placement students have interned with IT companies, start-ups, government departments and large biomedical and biotechnology companies. Along with new professional skills and connections, you’ll also gain course credit for your work placement.
