Business Analytics (Major)

When you study business analytics at the UNSW Business School you’ll be studying at the top Business School in the Asia Pacific. We’re ranked 1st in Australia, 2nd in the Asia Pacific and 16th in the world in Information Systems by the Association of Information Systems. You’ll learn to source data, data analysis and apply data insights. Skills in business analytics can be applied to a diverse range of industries. By learning business analytics you’ll develop the skills and knowledge to find meaning and extract value from data by applying creativity to real-world problems.

In addition to statistical modelling, programming and database management, you’ll study with an emphasis on the ethical and legal issues of data governance. You’ll graduate with a holistic framework to span the bridge between business problem owners and technical experts. The Bachelor of Social Sciences/Law is a 5-year double degree program that provides the opportunity to obtain two degrees of professional importance to the public sector, community service, business and law practice. Corporate, Commercial and Taxation Law
Corporate, Commercial & Taxation Law courses deliver highly relevant legal knowledge in a practical commercial and regulatory context. This Master of Laws specialisation will allow you to expand your expertise by pursuing new areas of study or explore existing knowledge at a deeper level.

This double degree is for engineers in the fields of physical metallurgy, materials engineering, ceramic engineering or process metallurgy who want to become skilled in technical management and more aware of the economic and social aspects of the engineering profession. The Materials Science component teaches you theoretical and practical skills that will put you at the forefront of innovation in developing materials that are lighter, greener and stronger. The Commerce component provides you with a fundamental understanding of general business principles and allows you to develop specialist knowledge in a business area of your choice. The UNSW Master of Development Studies is a two-year, full-time interactive degree that provides specialist studies in international development at the local, national and global level. The Bachelor of International Public Health is designed for students who are interested in improving the health and wellbeing of populations across the globe, and in the prevention of disease and disability. Public health focuses on improving and protecting the health and wellbeing of communities, with an emphasis on prevention among large groups of people.

This degree focuses on supporting you to develop the practical skills and knowledge required to investigate local and global public health problems, as well as the ability to design and implement innovative new approaches to emerging issues. It will provide you with a solid understanding of the different health needs of communities, the social and environmental factors that influence health and how to reduce the risks and inequities.

This three-year degree will expose you to a range of public health challenges designed to prepare you for a variety of roles within the field of public health, as well as support you to develop your skills in critical thinking, research, communication and leadership.
