The Master of Public Health and Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence is a double degree providing essential knowledge and skills for those pursuing a career in public health with a focus on infectious diseases epidemiology and control. Studio-based courses enable you to focus on a specific area of design and digital media practice or put together a suite of courses from across design, material practice and digital media.

This innovative degree extends the Civil Engineering Bachelor degree by including courses in Architecture from the School of Built Environment. Civil engineers create and manage the infrastructure of our built environment, including bridges, roads and highways, tunnels, dams, ports and harbours, railways, water supply and sewerage schemes, irrigation systems and many other structures.

The degree will lead to a professionally accredited Engineering qualification with a foundation in architectural principles and an understanding of both the architect's role in structural design and the connection between architects and engineers. It aims to inspire students to become conceptual thinkers with an appreciation for architectural beauty and the mathematical insight to challenge traditional boundaries of structural design.

Chemical Product Engineering is the new frontier for chemical engineers. It incorporates the technical and entrepreneurial skills needed to innovate, develop and design new chemical and consumer products for large and small businesses.

Chemical Engineering has an emphasis on product design and development. A major focus in this field is on new materials and breakthrough technologies that overcome high costs and scarcity to create value-adding solutions. Chemical Engineers work in areas from cosmetics, drugs and solar cells to advance biomedical devices by identifying customer needs and creating products that meet those needs.

You'll build on the study of chemical and physical sciences and processes to create the types of products that can be commercialised in a number of fields such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural chemicals and foods. Through academic and project work as well as applying your skills during 60 days of approved industry training, you'll graduate with the tools and skills you need to create products across a wide range of industries.

Medical science is the foundation that the practice of medicine is built on. This degree delves into how the human body functions and responds to disease and drug treatments. It incorporates facets of several scientific disciplines to provide you with an extensive understanding of the human body.

The Bachelor of Medical Science explores:

Molecular Genetics

In humans and all other species, genes influence every characteristic, from appearance to behaviour to disease. Molecular genetics is a specialised area that has had a major impact on the discipline. This major is ideal for students whose interests are in understanding and appreciating biological process at the molecular rather than the descriptive level.

UNSW’s Master of Property and Development is a 1.7 year, or 1 year accelerated postgraduate degree that will equip you to work at the cutting-edge of a dynamic industry.
