Business Analytics Specialisation

Business analytics is about using data insights to analyse all things related to business. With the increasing impact and influence of big data on business operations, the demand for analytics professionals is strong, and continues to grow.

Why study business analytics?
You'll learn to source, analyse, and apply data insights, giving you skills that can be applied to a diverse range of industries. With statistical modelling, programming and database management, this major has an emphasis on the ethical and legal issues of data governance so you’ll walk away with a holistic framework to span the bridge between business problem owners and technical experts.

Any design you could dream of can be brought to reality by a mechanical engineer. Mechanical engineers apply scientific and engineering knowledge to develop, manufacture and operate machines and tools, which can then be used to develop things.

This degree will give you the skills and knowledge required to design and manage the construction, operation and maintenance of machines used in many industries.

Criminal Justice and Criminology
Crime and criminal justice are matters of pressing public concern and considerable controversy. Newly emerging problems offer challenges and require rethinking conventional understandings of criminology and criminal justice. The Criminal Justice and Criminology specialisation in the Master of Laws will provide you with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to research and analyse current debates, emerging problems, and new criminal law and criminal justice developments. The specialisation draws on the recognised expertise of UNSW in research and teaching of criminal justice and criminology, criminal law and procedure. This double degree is for students who want to pursue a career in the related disciplines of materials engineering and chemical engineering. Where materials scientists concern themselves mainly with the underlying science of high-performance materials such as metals, ceramics, polymers and composites, chemical engineers focus on turning raw materials into useful, marketable products from fertilisers, drugs and plastics, to paper, paint and food. By studying both degrees, you will learn foundational theory and practical skills that will put you at the forefront of development and innovation.

The Master of Reproductive Medicine has a proven track record in providing exceptional postgraduate level education across all subjects related to the study of reproductive medicine. As the uptake of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) around the world continues to increase, with over 12 million births and over 25 million cycles of IVF having now been completed, the applicability of this course to clinical and allied practice is obvious.
