This degree provides a solid foundation in business and includes an international studies component and one-year compulsory overseas exchange to prepare you for the challenges of working in global business. You will have the ability to incorporate a language study such as Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Japanese, Korean or Spanish within the program. The Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE)/Law draws together the perspectives of four crucial academic disciplines to address professional demands, global trends and contemporary social issues, such as justice, inequality and climate change.

Studio-based courses enable you to focus on a specific area of design and digital media practice or put together a suite of courses from across design, material practice and digital media.

Computer Science is the study of the design, construction and use of computer systems. When you complete a Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge required for computer applications to be developed.

Working with both hardware and software, this undergraduate degree teaches the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware.

The Bachelor of Computer Science also focuses on the representation of data and data structures in computer systems and the design of algorithms for automatic manipulation of this information by programming languages and machine systems.

When you combine studies in business and aviation you can supercharge your career in the aviation industry with a unique mix of skills. The commerce component of this double degree provides you with a fundamental understanding of general business principles and allows you to develop specialist knowledge in a business area of your choice.

The aviation management degree shares a common academic core with the flying stream, replacing flight training with a range of courses in management areas such as operations management, aviation economics, law and regulations, airline marketing and safety. Students are exposed to current aviation topics and often work in teams to solve contemporary air transport problems. Learning exercises range from operating a start-up airline in a management simulation to exploring the cognitive abilities of humans in the fast-developing environment of aviation.

Computational Design (Major)

When you study Computational Design at UNSW, you’ll learn to approach challenges differently through design-thinking. You’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including 3D modelling, digital geometry and parametric design, responsive environments, AR and VR, and robotic and digital fabrication using 3D printers and laser cutters.

Through design thinking and computational design theory, you’ll hone critical-thinking and communication skills to create inclusive designs for diverse contexts. As part of our supportive Arts, Design & Architecture community, you’ll be encouraged to collaborate across disciplines, gain professional experience, and take advantage of programs that support entrepreneurship and innovation. You’ll have the opportunity to work on real-life projects set by UNSW’s partners in the built-environment, architecture and design industries such as Cox, Arup, Hassell, BVN, Bates Smart, PTW Architects, Grimshaw, Mott McDonald, and Aurecon.

Explore the effect that drugs have on living tissues and the normal body functions of humans.
