Building on UNSW Art & Design’s experience of delivering leading postgraduate education for arts and cultural professionals, the Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership (MCCL) is designed with extensive industry engagement and consultation. With an established and trusted history of producing graduates sought after for their vision, our graduates have secured roles in world-leading cultural institutions such as the Smithsonian, Carriageworks and MAAS.

This degree is for those interested in exploring a wide range of areas across curating and cultural leadership through industry engagement and professional experience with galleries, libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions. We deliver our curriculum in close collaboration with our on-campus UNSW Galleries and a broad range of Australian and international creative industries partners. These opportunities allow you to experience integrated, collaborative and diverse industry experiences throughout your postgraduate studies.

This degree provides pathways for both those with backgrounds in museums, galleries, arts organisations, art history and art practice and those who wish to enter curating or cultural leadership from other professional backgrounds.

UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce/Arts is a double degree that will equip you with business experience and expertise, combined with the creativity, analytical and critical thinking skills that come with an arts degree. Both degrees offer flexibility, allowing you to shape your degree to match your ambitions and interests.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Dietetics is an allied health profession that applies the science of food and nutrition to optimise health, treat illnesses and prevent the onset of chronic diseases. A dietitian can help people manage health conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal diseases, obesity and food allergies. 

Food innovation examines all aspects of the food value chain from agriculture, food technology, food manufacturing and the retail sector, through to innovations and digital technologies. It looks at how we can improve the food system to address current and future food equity and sustainability challenges. 

This unique combination of complementary disciplines expands your career options as you'll be able to work both within and outside of the healthcare sector. At the end of the five years, you'll graduate with both a bachelor's and a master's degree, which will give you a competitive advantage in the job market. This degree will prepare you for clinical roles in hospitals, private practices and health organisations, as well as opening the door for you to pursue roles in the food sector including agriculture, food businesses and food not-for-profit organisations. Combine two degrees that will equip you to make real change in the world. Economics is an influential social science that explores human behaviour and decision-making. Economists focus on the roles of  incentives, resource constraints, laws, customs, and institutions. When you study the Bachelor of Economics at UNSW, you’ll explore how the decisions of institutions and individuals interact to determine outcomes for the economy and society.

The Master of City Planning at UNSW is a two-year, professionally accredited postgraduate degree that allows you to bring experience from previous study to launch a career in urban and regional planning.

City planning is an exciting, varied and progressive profession that plays a pivotal role in decisions shaping the future of cities and regions. Through a career in planning, you’ll improve lives by designing cities that are sustainable, equitable, healthy and inspiring.

The digital age transforms the way we do business, and behind every digital innovation is information systems that help a business succeed. Information systems professionals are relied upon to drive innovation, work in teams to understand data or solve problems, and safeguard businesses in a competitive global environment.

Become an adaptive thinker who is prepared to enter an agile business environment and solve problems with new digital technologies and tools. You'll learn from technical business courses such as digital transformation or enterprise systems, while covering innovative topics like java programming or database technology using Oracle.
