Problems with eyesight can have a profound impact on an individual’s life. Through optometry, many vision problems and eye diseases can be corrected or managed, restoring sight to people from all walks of life.

Optometrists diagnose vision problems, eye diseases and other eye health issues. These highly skilled professionals correct poor vision and manage or slow degenerative eye diseases with corrective lenses, optical aids, therapy or medication.

The Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Clinical Optometry provides you with the clinical skills and training required to gain registration to practice optometry. It combines the theoretical discipline of vision science with the clinical expertise of primary eye care. 

Data science is playing an increasingly important and controversial role in legal practice and the legal system more broadly. However, the number of lawyers with expertise in data analysis or machine learning is small.

This has implications for the delivery of justice as inappropriate methods are often employed by those who do lack sufficient knowledge of the legal domain. However, it also creates opportunities for those with dual expertise to find better ways to use data science to enhance access to justice, increase rates of settlement, and improve the efficiency of legal practice and the broader legal system.

The AGSM Master of Business Administration (Executive), is a part-time national program designed for ambitious and experienced managers, executives, and professionals eager to take their career to the next level. It is designed to build strategy and leadership skills while providing a thorough grounding in core business disciplines. The MBAE is a flexible program that lets you pursue a professional interest area in dynamic study modes including weekly, intensive, and online classes.

This program is unique in its focus on intensive and residential cohort experiences that provide extensive opportunities for group learning and developing peer professional networks. AGSM MBAE  courses are designed by academics and delivered and facilitated by industry experts. The national program runs classes in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth, allowing students to stay on top of their study when they are travelling interstate for work. The Master of Global Health (Extension) provides you with the advanced knowledge and technical capacities to contribute to disease control, health promotion, health services development and public health research across a wide range of populations and countries. This specialisation takes a different approach – resolving design challenges with cutting-edge technologies. Using various computer languages, you’ll encode decisions and test ideas spanning architecture, design, computer science and engineering.
