 Industrial Design (Major)

When you study Industrial Design at UNSW, you’ll be inspired and challenged to use insightful and strategic product design for the good of people and the planet.

The UNSW Master of Taxation is a fast-track to Australian taxation law expertise from UNSW Business School, a leading institution in the Asia-Pacific region. This degree is designed to equip you, a tax professional or practitioner, to better manage the complex taxation issues involved in business decisions and transactions.

Explore the ways our criminal justice and mental health systems interact. Forensic mental health services assess and treat people with mental health problems who have a history of or are at risk of criminal offending. Professionals in this field might also work in civil legal settings, such as the family court. Forensic mental health is a major consideration for professionals in a range of fields, including medicine, law, nursing, criminology, psychology, occupational therapy and social work.

The Master of Forensic Mental Health was established in response to a local need for trained professionals to work in this expanding field. This progressive degree brings together a diverse cross-section of experiences and perspectives from mental health professionals, members of the legal profession and those involved in the criminal justice system. Through live video discussions, students can exchange viewpoints and insights in an interdisciplinary setting.

Broaden your career opportunities by studying advanced science and engineering together. The advanced science degree differs from the Bachelor of Science with the inclusion of advanced-level courses and an honours year. In addition to foundation subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics and maths, you also have access to more than 26 advanced fields of science. During your studies, you will develop the critical and analytical thinking needed for the successful completion of the research-based honours year.

In the engineering degree, you'll have the opportunity to apply yourself to engineering design and enquiry projects, professional engineering practice, engineering and technical management and research. This double degree combines specialised knowledge in Engineering with the variety of possibilities available in an Arts degree. International Law

This Master of Laws specialisation draws on the excellence offered by UNSW Law & Justice, where our academic staff (not to mention visiting lecturers and guest presenters) provide top-level teaching and guidance. Our academic staff often advise governments, the United Nations and other international organisations on a range of legal issues. The UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Nuclear Engineering) is designed for students who want to understand nuclear concepts that form the foundation of our universe. Through this degree you’ll develop the skills to apply these concepts to a variety of industries today and the technologies of the future. This postgraduate degree teaches you the underpinning theory behind nuclear engineering techniques, technologies and processes.

This degree also provides a stream that allows graduates from traditional engineering disciplines to pursue a career in high-tech industries including nuclear science, nuclear medicine, mining and resources, energy, manufacturing, aerospace, space exploration and defence. You’ll learn from national and international experts in the sector, including nuclear researchers from UNSW Sydney and the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, plus shared courses with the UNSW-ASU-King’s College PLuS Alliance.
