The Master of Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering) is a two-year full-time year degree at UNSW’s leading engineering faculty. You’ll explore the study of electrical engineering where you’ll learn across a variety of engineering systems, including renewable energy and signal processing.

This Master of Public Health (Extension) degree will give you a sophisticated understanding across the complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge of public health including epidemiology, biostatistics, social determinants of health, health promotion, population research methodologies, and health program design, implementation and evaluation. You will be perfectly positioned to pursue a PhD in Public Health to further advance your career in public health research.

This double degree enables students to gain skills and knowledge in the technical field of Computer Science as well as in a variety of subjects in Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Computer Science component emphasises comprehension of the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware. Medical science is the foundation that the practice of medicine is built on. This degree delves into how the human body functions and responds to disease and drug treatments. It incorporates facets of several scientific disciplines to provide you with an extensive understanding of the human body.

Human Pathology

Examine how and why diseases develop, what happens to our bodies when we’re ill and the effects of diseases. Pathology involves the study of diseases, such as infections and cancers, at the genetic, molecular, cellular and organ levels.

Modern finance relies heavily on mathematical modelling to manage investment portfolios, financial planning, pricing of financial products and analysing business risk. The Master of Financial Mathematics was introduced in 2007 to provide the financial sector (banks, insurance companies, investment companies) with a stream of highly trained specialists in quantitative finance. This program is suitable for students with an aptitude for mathematics and a keen interest in finance, who are looking for a pathway into the financial industry.
