UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Water Engineering: Catchments to Coast), is a two-year full-time or part-time equivalent postgraduate degree at Australia’s top engineering faculty. This degree is designed for practising Water Engineers and graduates pursuing career in large-scale water engineering. You’ll develop knowledge and skills in the full cycle of water in natural and engineered systems. You can tailor this degree to your own passion and career aspirations as you undertake an extensive research project in a specific area of interest to you. Through this project you’ll learn valuable skills in project planning and management and the critical analysis, interpretation and communication of results.

The Master of Engineering Science in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology is a 2-year full-time postgraduate degree at Australia’s leading engineering faculty. The degree was developed to provide a deeper understanding of geotechnical theory to solve practical problems in areas including soil mechanics, rock mechanics, slope stability, foundation design, earthworks and dam engineering.

This degree is designed for students who already have a four-year accredited engineering degree and want to broaden their job prospects through cross-training, re-training or specialisation. This postgraduate degree will allow you to meet or maintain professional accreditation standards and provide opportunities for continuing professional development.

You’ll work on a complex, open-ended enquiry-based project to develop your systematic approach to a problem. The Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) is a two-year full-time degree that'll help you develop the specialised skills and knowledge to build a successful career in Biomedical Engineering and gain a recognised accreditation. This degree is designed for students who don’t have a formal engineering accreditation but have an undergraduate degree in engineering, health or medical sciences.

When you study the Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) you'll expand your knowledge, skills and develop job prospects through a specialised study in the area of Biomedical Engineering. In this degree, you’ll learn about engineering applications in medicine including neuromodulation and bioinstrumentation, biomechanics and rehabilitation, tissue engineering, bioinformatics, as well as medical device design. As a part of your studies, you’ll also complete an open-ended research project.

You’ll be required to complete 60 days of industrial training in Biomedical Engineering and/or other Engineering fields, through this you’ll receive industry exposure and professional practice. Your degree will include a compulsory Master's Thesis which adds a research component to your study. You’ll graduate as an accredited Biomedical Engineer, with an Engineers Australia accreditation. After completing this postgraduate degree you’ll meet national and international benchmarks to take your career to the next level.

The UNSW Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a three-year degree when studied full time. Here, you will learn to design buildings and their surrounds to meet the needs of the people who use them. Taking sustainability, culture and the economy into consideration – you’ll participate in design studio sessions and lectures that cover a range of engaging topics and academic subjects. These include everything from architectural design to architectural communications, architectural history and theory, architectural science, the built environment and technologies, and architectural construction and structures.

When combined with the UNSW Master of Architecture, this degree will give you the qualification to practice as a registered architect, and a strong head start in contemporary and multidisciplinary design practice.

The Master of Professional Accounting is suitable for graduates with little to no background studying accounting. You'll gain an excellent foundation in business with a strong accounting focus and learn accounting principles, their applications and other relevant knowledge in economics, finance, information systems and law.

The skills and knowledge you gain through this degree will provide you with the tools to pursue a sucessful career in accounting.

This degree explores the best ways to make use of renewable energy technologies, including solar thermal systems, photovoltaics, wind and biomass. It borrows much of its structure from other areas of engineering, drawing resources from all around UNSW into a consolidated degree supporting learning for this growing industry.

Many elements of this degree are drawn from Photovoltaics & Solar Energy, but it looks beyond the sun as a source of energy, encompassing a wider range of technologies and their uses. It also addresses the important areas of solar architecture and the design of energy-efficient buildings and appliances. To get you work ready, you'll apply your skills through 60 days of approved industry training.
