The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

The UNSW Master of Public Policy and Governance is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree, that applies a social science perspective to real-world questions of policy, research and management in modern organisations. Through this master’s degree, you’ll prepare for roles that require research and analytical skills, and a practical appreciation of the processes of policymaking, policy analysis, and policy implementation.

This degree helps you to develop the skills and perspectives needed for the assessment, evaluation, and sensitivity of public policy. You’ll explore the impacts research, public policy and governance have on clients, customers and the public.

This double degree is for students who want to pursue a career in the related disciplines of materials engineering and chemical engineering. Where materials scientists concern themselves mainly with the underlying science of high-performance materials such as metals, ceramics, polymers and composites, chemical engineers focus on turning raw materials into useful, marketable products from fertilisers, drugs and plastics, to paper, paint and food. Biotechnology takes our understanding of cell biology and chemistry to create a range of products and solutions to problems in medicine, food and energy. The Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) includes fundamental teaching in the life sciences, explores current trends and issues in the industry and tackles key focus areas including synthetic biology, bioprocessing, medical applications and commercialisation. It also incorporates a research-based honours year, providing you with greater experience and confidence in the practice of scientific methods.

The SCIF3199 Science Work Placement course gives you the opportunity to gain practical work experience through an internship.
