This double degree is for students who want to pursue a career in the related disciplines of materials engineering and chemical engineering. Where materials scientists concern themselves mainly with the underlying science of high-performance materials such as metals, ceramics, polymers and composites, chemical engineers focus on turning raw materials into useful, marketable products from fertilisers, drugs and plastics, to paper, paint and food. By studying both degrees, you will learn foundational theory and practical skills that will put you at the forefront of development and innovation.

The Master of Public Health/Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence (Extension) provides an innovative approach to postgraduate health education. This degree will help prepare you for a career in health emergencies, outbreaks, infectious diseases risk assessment and emergency response related to infectious diseases and other threats.

You will gain advanced disciplinary knowledge and skills needed for professional practice across a range of contexts including ministries and departments of health, government organisations, non-government and voluntary organisations, and primary care and community healthcare services in both public and private sectors.

The Master of Global Health and Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence double degree is an innovative approach to postgraduate health education. It enables you to better understand infectious diseases in the era of new and emerging disease threats as well as management approaches for the identification, assessment, prevention and control of infectious diseases.

This combination fosters a sophisticated understanding across a complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge including infectious diseases intelligence, policy design, implementation and evaluation. You will be equipped with the specialised skills and concepts needed for professional practice in the prevention, identification, assessment and control of infectious diseases.

You will become a judgement-ready practitioner who can contribute to improving population health and work across a range of contexts including government, non-government and voluntary organisations, military and first-responder organisations, primary care and community health care services.

This double degree combines the professional Bachelor of Laws with the Bachelor of Media to give you a unique understanding of how these two industries can influence, persuade and create important lasting change. Through the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)/Law double degree, you'll develop excellent analytical skills, a capacity for scholarly research and effective oral and written communication skills that will prepare you for a range of careers. Our Law degree encourages a commitment to personal and professional development, ethical practice and social responsibility. This professional degree meets the requirements for accreditation with the Legal Professional Admission Board, while the fifth-year courses in Psychology meet the requirements for provisional registration as a psychologist nationally and associate membership in the Australian Psychological Society.

In the Psychology (Honours) degree, you’ll conduct a major research project under the guidance of one of our expert academic supervisors.
