The Bachelor of Fine Arts / Bachelor of Law (BFA LLB) is a 5-year program that combines a highly valued professional legal qualification with a qualification designed for those who wish to involve themselves in creative fields such as animation, visual arts, and music.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of law and gain a strong understanding of legal issues, ethical practice and social justice. The BFA component will develop your foundational skills in creative practice and experimentation while offering the flexibility to focus deeply on the creative field that matters to you.

The BFA is home to distinctive specialisations in Animation and Moving Image, Art Theory, Music, and Visual Arts, each of which is led by experts in your field and supported by specialist facilities.

This double degree is for students who want to pursue a career in the related disciplines of materials engineering and chemical engineering. Where materials scientists concern themselves mainly with the underlying science of high-performance materials such as metals, ceramics, polymers and composites, chemical engineers focus on turning raw materials into useful, marketable products from fertilisers, drugs and plastics, to paper, paint and food. By studying both degrees, you will learn foundational theory and practical skills that will put you at the forefront of development and innovation.

This innovative degree extends the Civil Engineering Bachelor degree by including courses in Architecture from the School of Built Environment. Civil engineers create and manage the infrastructure of our built environment, including bridges, roads and highways, tunnels, dams, ports and harbours, railways, water supply and sewerage schemes, irrigation systems and many other structures.

The degree will lead to a professionally accredited Engineering qualification with a foundation in architectural principles and an understanding of both the architect's role in structural design and the connection between architects and engineers. Modern finance relies heavily on mathematical modelling to manage investment portfolios, financial planning, pricing of financial products and analysing business risk. The Master of Financial Mathematics was introduced in 2007 to provide the financial sector (banks, insurance companies, investment companies) with a stream of highly trained specialists in quantitative finance. This program is suitable for students with an aptitude for mathematics and a keen interest in finance, who are looking for a pathway into the financial industry.
