The Bachelor of Business (Property) is the longest-running degree of its type in Australia, and the only one of its kind in South Australia. You will learn about property investment, development, valuation, management, agency and property research. 

As a property professional you will gather and analyse information to help you make informed decisions and offer practical advice about the use and management of property. 

What you'll learn

The degree starts with core courses in areas such as analytics, accounting and economic theory. These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals that you can apply to a range of careers. 

In your specialisation you will focus on property valuation, development and investment. Specific areas include building evaluation, planning and land use, property law and economics, property practice, investment and development, and entrepreneurship.

In your postgraduate studies, you will study core courses in business and global investment and trade and select from specialised courses such as Behavioural Finance, International Business: Strategy and Ethics, and Applied Research in Finance.

In your law studies you can undertake a Community Justice Project, practice advocacy and negotiation, or gain industry experience through participation in our Legal Advice Clinic or a professional placement. You’ll also be involved in mock-trials in our moot court, learning what it’s like to act as an advocate and argue a case before a judge. 

In your tourism and event management studies you will prepare for a fast-paced career in these growing industries. You’ll develop an understanding of the field from a global perspective, and study a broad range of practical, real-world issues with a chance to get involved in running events.

What you'll learn
This degree is made up of 40 courses. You will do 24 courses in law and 16 courses in tourism and event management.

Laws (Honours)
As a UniSA Law student, you’ll gain valuable skills from day one, including in reasoning, reporting, analysis, negotiation, communication and advocacy. You will also experience what it's like to argue a case and provide legal advice.

Throughout your degree you will study core courses that teach you the fundamental legal concepts that underpin the Australian legal system. Courses such as torts, contracts, criminal law and constitutional law will give you a good understanding of basic legal principles.

Our Law program also features courses that build your leadership skills, intercultural communication, project management and capacity for community engagement.

You will have the opportunity to have practical learning experiences including mooting, negotiation, and witness examination. You will also engage in a Community Justice project, high-level research or an industry placement, ensuring you’ll be prepared for legal practise upon graduation.

Tourism and Event Management
You will study core courses such as Business and Society, Management and Organisation and Marketing Principles: Trading and Exchange. You will also learn the latest in specialist areas such as:

Architecture and Construction

Master of Architecture

This professionally accredited degree provides advanced skills and knowledge in architecture design and how it relates to the environment, culture, and design and construction technologies.

A focus on student-directed learning will also see you specialise in a specific area of interest through your choice of electives streams from Sustainable Design, Design and Construct, Planning and Urban Design, or Construction and Project Management, or choose electives focusing on research, national and international study tours, and industry experience. 


What you'll Learn
This master-level degree will provide you with advanced knowledge and understanding of design principles and methods; building structures and construction systems; digital design and communication methods; sustainable design strategies; how contemporary architectural practice operates; and the social and cultural history that shapes our world, including Aboriginal and First Nations cultural practices. 

This degree has a strong practical focus – in design studio classes you will design complex projects informed by contemporary architectural practice and construction, as well as undertake research and hands-on learning through industry-based professional placements and industry-led and practically-focussed coursework.

To successfully graduate from this degree, you must complete a total of eight core courses (54 units) and four electives (18 units); including advanced design studios that focus on the Environment, Construction, and Context, and integration of supporting courses focusing on design-based research and, how professional architectural practices operate.

Four elective courses offer you the opportunity to develop specific areas of interest in Design and Construct, Planning and Urban Design, Construction and Project Management, or Sustainable Design, further complimented by electives focusing on research, national and international study tours, and industry experience

Human-centred research and design thinking processes, as applied to industrial design problems, are the core of your experience. You’ll use various techniques to investigate design problems, come to a deep understanding of the context, and then develop and implement innovative and appropriate solutions for the problem. Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (Graduate Entry)

Prepare for a dynamic career in law with our professional law honours degree which you can complete in three years full-time (or part-time equivalent) using credit from your previous studies.

As a UniSA Law student, you'll gain valuable skills from day one that you can use to resolve complex legal problems, including in reasoning, reporting, analysis, negotiation, communication and advocacy.
