What you'll learn

Postgraduate Business studentsThe Graduate Diploma in Management (Arts and Cultural Management) is made up of 8 courses. You will complete two courses in your specialisation: Arts Environment, and Arts and Cultural Leadership and Governance. You will also complete four Business core courses and two electives. Through these you will develop skills and expertise in areas that include:

• Festivals and Events
• Marketing Management
• Arts and Cultural Audiences

With a focus on the borrowing, lending and investing of money, you will develop a dynamic understanding of the complex finance industry as part of your degree. This Fast-track to Masters program allows you to fast-track your career by completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in just four years. You will be able to diversify your skill set, increase your earning potential with a more advanced qualification, and expand your career opportunities across a range of fields.

In the Master of Professional Accounting you will study five core courses and nine accounting specialisation courses. You will gain a solid grounding in the latest accounting methods by studying areas in auditing, taxation, financial and management accounting and corporate finance. You will also study two electives as part of your studies.

In your human resource management specialisation you’ll focus on people management, studying areas such as:

What you'll learn

This degree will see you graduate with the confidence and practical capabilities needed to succeed in this competitive field. You will:

• Gain a solid foundation in the theoretical aspects of design, and through valuable hands-on projects and industry placements you will also gain practical knowledge and skills that will see you transition with ease into the workplace
• Gain an understanding of industry trends – delve into the world of workplace design, as well as the expanding field of furniture design with hands-on experience in the production and fabrication of furniture
• Apply design processes and strategies to a range of interior architecture projects, many of which are professional projects with real clients; alternatively you may choose to complete workshop-based courses where you can create furniture prototypes.

What you'll learn

This degree is made up of 40 courses. You will do 24 courses in law and 16 courses in management.  

Laws (Honours)

As a UniSA Law student, you’ll gain valuable skills from day one, including in reasoning, reporting, analysis, negotiation, communication and advocacy. You will also experience what it's like to argue a case and provide legal advice.

Throughout your degree you will study core courses that teach you the fundamental legal concepts that underpin the Australian legal system. Courses such as torts, contracts, criminal law and constitutional law will give you a good understanding of basic legal principles.

Our Law program also features courses that build your leadership skills, intercultural communication, project management and capacity for community engagement.

You will have the opportunity to have practical learning experiences including mooting, negotiation, and witness examination. You will also engage in a Community Justice project, high-level research or an industry placement, ensuring you’ll be prepared for legal practise upon graduation.

Management

You will study core courses such as Business and Society, Career Development for Professionals and Organisational Behaviour. You will also learn the latest in specialist areas such as:

The Bachelor of Business (Property) is the longest-running degree of its type in Australia, and the only one of its kind in South Australia. You will learn about property investment, development, valuation, management, agency and property research. 

As a property professional you will gather and analyse information to help you make informed decisions and offer practical advice about the use and management of property.

You will learn a broad range of techniques needed to produce industry-standard pictures for industries such as:

• Book and comic publishing
• Gaming
• Movies
• Advertising
• 2D, 3D and Stop Motion animation
• Animation
• Design

You will also become skilled in free-hand drawing, develop knowledge of digital software for moving and static pictures, and work in on-campus workshops that are fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment.

During your final year you will be given the opportunity to practice your skills when you undertake an industry internship, mentorship, collaborative project or free elective.

Skilled communicators are essential in every organisation and industry sector, and this adaptable degree will equip you with the knowledge and skills to plan, develop and deliver communication activities across a range of platforms.

You will develop skills in:

• writing and creating content for traditional and online media
• Analysing social media and its role in society
• Managing media and public relations
• Critical and analytical thinking required for the strategic planning and management of communication and media.

What you'll learn

You will learn how to write, plan, deliver and evaluate communication strategies that engage and inform target audiences using a range of media platforms. With a focus on communication for both traditional and online media, you'll study:

The Master of Professional Accounting will prepare you for practice as a professional accountant. You will develop analytical, general business management and critical problem-solving skills, and gain a comprehensive understanding of accounting practice.

Your studies will focus on financial and management accounting, finance, commercial law, taxation law and auditing. You’ll study contemporary research and real-life case studies with the opportunity to complete an industry placement in Australia or overseas.
