This is a broadly based, inter-disciplinary four-year double degree offering flexibility and choice within a wide range of offerings in the social sciences, as well as studies of International Relations and Asian Studies and an Asian language.

Geography and Urban Studies

Students in this major examine the geography of contemporary Australian cities and regions. Geography is the integrated study of people, places and environments.

The cutting edge interests of today’s Geographers include post-colonialism, the emergence of global information economies, indigenous issues, class and cultural disparities, population movement, sexuality and space, and the global diffusion of popular culture.

Urban Studies is a newer discipline focused on social justice within the city, through its critical assessments of peoples’ access to scarce urban resources, such as housing, transport, education and employment. 

The Bachelor of Laws (Non-Graduate) (Honours) program is designed for high achieving law students who wish to undertake an extended level of study and research. There is no direct entry into the Honours program. Entry is by application only following completion of at least 160 credit points of Law study and by meeting other specified criteria.The Bachelor of Laws (Non Graduate Entry) (Honours) program satisfies the academic degree requirements for admission to practice as an Australian lawyer. Students will engage in collaborative face-to-face problem and case-based learning, will be supported by online learning materials, and will participate in authentic assessment to develop knowledge and skills. The program provides students with a broad progressive legal education with a strong practical orientation to the law. Chemistry

A Bachelor of Science with a chemistry major will prepare you to take part in a process of inquiry, by both contributing to it and by using scientific knowledge to solve current problems. Anatomy and Physiology

The Anatomy and Physiology Major within the Bachelor of Medical Science will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the basic sciences underpinning human health, wellbeing and its application to human disease. This major provides a strong focus on the anatomy and physiology of the human body in relation to health and disease. The Master of Art Therapy is the only program of its kind in NSW, and one of only three such programs in Australia.

This clinical training program shows you how to use visual art media within a therapeutic relationship to help people in distress. You will emerge with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience required to work as an art therapist in a wide variety of contexts.

Art therapy is a form of individual, family and group psychotherapy in which people engage in visual art processes with a highly trained art therapy practitioner. This program emphasises the therapeutic and pedagogical value of fine arts practice and encourages learning through creative exploration, interpersonal communication and self-reflection.

When you graduate, you will be equipped with the therapeutic skills required to assist people in times of emotional distress. These skills can be highly effective for clients with a wide range of psychological, social and physical problems.
