We’ve partnered with five leading business schools in Europe to offer you the best in international business education and co-op work experience in both Canada and Europe.

This outstanding opportunity, allows you to combine your studies in Business at Goodman with an experience at the Lancaster University Management School in England, EBS Business School in Germany, ESB Reutlingen University in Germany, NEOMA Business School in France, or Dublin City University in Ireland. No matter which school you choose, your experience will include co-op work-terms in both Canada and the respective country.

You’ll study both at Brock and the partner school and receive two internationally recognized degrees. This co-op only program gives you the global perspective desirable in today’s economy and the work experience to back it up.

England: Lancaster University Management School (LUMS): Study for two years at the Goodman School of Business and two years at Lancaster University Management School in England.
France: NEOMA Business School (NBS): Study for 2.5 years at the Goodman School of Business and two years at NEOMA Business School in France. You will study in French at NEOMA — a minimum Grade 12 French is required for entry to this program, and French language courses must be completed at Brock in Year 2 of your program.
Germany: EBS Business School: Study for 2.5 years at the Goodman School of Business and 1.5 years at EBS Business School in Germany. You will study in English at EBS; however, you will take German language courses at both schools so that you are prepared to work in a German work environment.
Germany: ESB Reutlingen University: Study for 2.5 years at the Goodman School of Business and two years at ESB Reutlingen in Germany. At ESB, you will study 50 per cent in German in Year 3 and 100 per cent in German in Year 4. You will study German language in years 1 and 2 to prepare.
Ireland: Dublin City University: Study for 2.5 years at the Goodman School of Business and two years at Dublin City University in Ireland.

The graduates of the course will have a comprehensive understanding of the issues and current trends in education and early care for children, starting from birth to eight years old and will be prepared to work or further study in the field of education and care for young children.

The graduates of this program are expected to take on positions that need a strong foundation in early care and education, to teacher education programs towards an Ontario Teaching Certificate or apply to graduate studies.
 

Study the cultural production, reception, and interpretation of the fine and performing arts.

You’ll examine and relate elements of Visual Arts, Dramatic Arts, Music, Dance, Interactive Arts and Science, Media and Communication Studies, Popular Culture, Film Studies and Canadian Studies. You may sample from these diverse disciplines to create a customized program.

The concentration in Cultural Management, with courses from the Goodman School of Business, is ideal for those wishing to work as cultural managers in diverse fields of arts and culture.

A cooperation between STAC, History and Geography/Tourism Studies, the concentration in Cultural Transmission and Heritage Studies engages students in cross-disciplinary curatorial projects.

The concentration in Languages, Arts and Culture allows you to combine language acquisition (French, German, Italian, Spanish) in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures with interdisciplinary work in arts and culture.

As the oldest Bachelor of Public Health degree in Canada, our program provides students with a highly sought-after specialization.

Our program focuses on individual, community and population health and wellness with an emphasis on health promotion, health administration, health policy and health programming and evaluation.

Students will learn about the biological, mental, social and environmental determinants of health. The program also familiarizes them with emerging health issues both locally and globally.

Brock has the oldest — and one of the most distinguished — film studies programs in Canada. The program focuses on critical and historical courses that examine a variety of approaches to film and related media.

Most courses include weekly film screenings to introduce you to all kinds of cinema. Studying a wide range of films provides a thorough understanding of the medium for future filmmakers, critics and teachers. There are optional courses in video production, and you may become involved in the Brock University Film Series (BUFS) and/or Brock TV.

History is at the heart of every educated citizen. To understand the present and prepare for the future, one must learn about the past.

At Brock, History is much more than memorizing facts and dates — it involves exploring changes and continuities in bygone societies, cultures and peoples.

The study of History entails following your interests and curiosities, evaluating and interpreting evidence, as well as formulating logical arguments based on that evidence.

You’ll examine how social constructions of gender shape the consciousness and lives of women and men of various races, ethnicities, classes and sexualities. You’ll explore diverse women’s histories, intellectual contributions and perspectives.

Employing methodological tools from a wide range of disciplines, you’ll scrutinize gender in relation to institutions, ideologies, histories, cultural artifacts, social interactions, science, bodies and cultures.

Our focus is on the transnational feminist exploration of the ways gender intersects with different variables to produce the complexity of women’s and men’s lived experience. Our courses are open to all students at Brock University, allowing them to explore the ways gendered experience is produced as a culturally variable and historically contingent category.

The Department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film offers four separate programs of study in Business Communication, Media and Communication Studies, Film Studies, and Popular Culture. A four-year program leading to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree, a 4 Year BA with Major, and a three-year program leading to the BA Pass degree is offered in all four programs. In addition, the Department is involved in programs with community colleges which offer students the opportunity to earn an honours degree in Communication Studies and a college diploma or certificate.

The course is for students who wish to make a career working with children in a health-related profession. A one of its kind degrees, it draws on the strengths of the departments of Health Sciences and Child and Youth Studies and provides opportunities to the students to become research assistants and participate in faculty-supervised independent studies. The degree is designed to meet the needs of students interested in the health, wellness, and development of children and adolescents and allows them to gain practical experience in a health-related profession concerned with children.

As a modern biotechnologist, you’ll study areas such as recombinant DNA technology, genetic and protein engineering, cell fusion, and gene cloning and expression.
