The Tecumseh Center for Aboriginal Research and Education offers a few alternatives for those keen on working in an indigenous teaching condition. 

The people group put together educational program model depends with respect to qualified Aboriginal teachers to encourage the instructive adventure. Courses are offered in an encouraged learning associate model in areas over the territory. A determination of Indigenous Studies courses are offered in the campus such as:

The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures offers this interdisciplinary program as a combined major.

Courses are taught in English and cover the literatures and cultures of Western Europe, as well as Romance Linguistics. French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish texts are read in translation and assignments are completed in English.

Environmental geoscientists apply their unique understanding of the Earth’s composition, structure and physical processes to protect the environment and predict geologic and hydrologic hazards.

New geoscientists, trained in environmental disciplines, are required to meet environmental and resource management challenges. Current trends suggest that in North America, employment in the environmental geoscience disciplines will grow faster than the average for other occupations.

Brock’s program is designed to comply with the educational requirements for licensing as a geoscientist-in-training, the licensing classification that leads to the PGeo designation, established by the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.

The Master of Education (MEd) program is designed for individuals from a variety of backgrounds and occupations who have an interest in advancing their knowledge of education. We offer full and part-time study options with a Course-based Pathway (CBP) and two Research pathways: Major Research Paper (MRP) or Thesis. While some courses are offered face-to-face, online and in blended formats the MEd program is a campus-based face-to-face program and cannot be completed entirely online. Students are required to come to campus. Full-time students in the Research pathways are eligible for funding.

For students in the CBP Pathway, the option to complete up to two concentrations in areas of interest is available. Options include:

Studies concentrate on various aspects of solid-state and materials research, from superconductors to soft-condensed matter systems. Our undergraduate students are involved in research — some have even published papers before graduation.

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement. You will study anatomy and physiology of body movement, including issues related to the maintenance, rehabilitation or enhancement of movement and performance.

Our Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BScKin) degree provides a highly competent science background, with an emphasis on research skills and theoretical knowledge. This degree is designed for those who wish to concentrate on the science of human movement and will prepare you to meet the requirements for post-graduate degree programs in a variety of allied health professions.

This program explores issues in popular culture from a multidisciplinary perspective. You’ll take a series of critical and historical courses examining a wide range of mass-mediated and non-mass-mediated forms of popular culture.

These include television, popular music, gaming, advertising, social media, sports, fairs and carnivals, literature, and film in their political, historical, economic and aesthetic contexts. Courses in communication, film, Canadian studies and politics will give you an excellent understanding of the world of popular forms, both contemporary and historical.

You’ll examine how social constructions of gender shape the consciousness and lives of women and men of various races, ethnicities, classes and sexualities. You’ll explore diverse women’s histories, intellectual contributions and perspectives.

Employing methodological tools from a wide range of disciplines, you’ll scrutinize gender in relation to institutions, ideologies, histories, cultural artifacts, social interactions, science, bodies and cultures.

Our focus is on the transnational feminist exploration of the ways gender intersects with different variables to produce the complexity of women’s and men’s lived experience. Our courses are open to all students at Brock University, allowing them to explore the ways gendered experience is produced as a culturally variable and historically contingent category.

Our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program combines professionally oriented business courses with studies in social sciences, humanities and mathematics and science

This program offers the students a broad understanding of physical education, applies knowledge from humanities, social sciences and biosciences and allows maximum opportunities for students to pursue various courses and study a wide range of issues related to human movement.
