The Office Management diploma program gives you the practical office skills with administrative and management training along with a focus on human resource skills.

Work experience:-
During your Diploma in Arts and Science Studies, you can take a Co-op or Internship option to complement your studies.
You will gain practical work experience, which may be paid or unpaid, through either one four-month internship or two co-op work terms. You can take your work term after you have completed at least eight courses in the program.

The Medical Office Assistant certificate program prepares you for the administrative and clinical duties of an office assistant in a medical or healthcare office. As Medical Office Assistant student, you gain general knowledge of medical terminology, business communications, financial management, information technology, medical transcription and billing.

The flexible General Arts program offers you a two-year grounding in the arts. Build the program that interests you by choosing courses that fit your educational goals. You can also choose to specialize with five options within the Associate of Arts degree, including English, economics, social work or psychology.

This dynamic, 4-year applied degree program prepares graduates with leading-edge theoretical and applied knowledge, and skills to work in the fields of exercise physiology, kinesiology, exercise therapy, fitness, high-performance sport, adapted physical activity, health, and community recreation.

At Camosun
The Centre for Sport & Exercise Education offers innovative programing in the areas of Sport Management, Sport & Fitness Leadership, Kinesiology, Athletic & Exercise Therapy, Massage Therapy and Adventure Education. As a Sport & Fitness Leadership student, you will become an integral part of the Centre for Sport & Exercise Education (CSEE).

With the Engineering Transfer program you get an introduction to engineering mechanics and project design in addition to a solid foundation in first year science and English. When you’re finished, you’ll be ready to enter into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Bachelor of Software Engineering (B.S.Eng.) at the University of Victoria (UVic). Or, you can apply for course-to-course transfer to engineering programs at other post-secondary institutions.

Successful completion of all the program courses with an overall GPA of 3.0 (C+) and no less than a C in each course will guarantee you admission into second year Engineering at UVic in at least one of their engineering disciplines. When you transfer to UVic, you choose your specific engineering discipline — biomedical, civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, or software engineering. If space in your first choice is limited, you will be competing on an equal footing with UVic students. If your grades are not competitive to gain admission to your first choice of program, you will be offered an alternate second year program.

You'll gain valuable business skills while building on past learning. You will study a broad range of marketing concepts with opportunities to develop competencies in corporate communications & marketing, consumer behaviour, and services marketing.

Work Experience
You will gain practical skills and experience by combining your academic studies with relevant work experience in the Internship designation. You'll graduate with practical work experience and employer references. Employers value internship as a source of eager and well-prepared talent and often use the internship process as a means of recruiting permanent employees.

The fast-growing world of electronics and computer technology
Missing admission requirements for the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology programs? Don't give up - this Access program opens the door to this popular Camosun tech-career program. Upgrade your skills in math, English and physics while you learn about computers, computer-aided design, electronics and test equipment. Successful completion gives you a guaranteed seat in the next intake of the program.

You will develop a foundation in leadership that prepares you for the strategic role HR professionals play in leading and influencing organizational performance. Applied learning experiences rooted in Human Resources principles are an integral component of this program.

Year 1: In your first year, you’ll work through introductory–level courses in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. Exit the program now with a Business Administration certificate or continue on to Year 2.
Year 2: In your second year, you'll take courses in HR management foundations, leadership skills, and negotiations and contracts. Exit the program now with a business administration diploma or continue on to Year 3.
Year 3: In your third year, you'll continue your studies in human resource development, leading organizational change, and employee & labour relations.
Year 4: For your fourth year, you'll be taking courses in strategic HR management, employment law, and applied leadership.

You will gain a broad range of marketing management skills and techniques, including context for strategic management and planning, and a focus on directing the marketing and communications process.

Year 2: In your second year, you'll be taking courses in marketing research, creative selling, and entrepreneurship. Exit the program now with a business administration diploma or continue on to the bachelor of business administration.
Year 3: In third year, the marketing major allows you to broaden and deepen your marketing skills and knowledge and you'll be taking courses in sustainable marketing, global business strategies, public relations, and communication tools & media.
Year 4: For your fourth year of the BBA, you'll be taking courses in strategic marketing, project management, digital marketing, and advanced communications.
