Design a better world
This Access program is for those who don’t yet have the requirements to enter the popular Mechanical Engineering Technology or Engineering Graphics Technician programs. Upgrade your math, physics and English skills while taking relevant and important courses in mechanical systems and architectural design. After completing the Access program, you will receive a certificate and will also have a guaranteed seat in the next intake of the Mechanical Engineering Technology or Engineering Graphics Technician program.

Develop critical skills in public administration and governance including building relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups. Through applied learning, you will experience different perspectives and objectives to consider issues in new and creative ways.

As a graduate, you are prepared to be employed in a variety of public administration settings. You can also choose to continue your education at Camosun with the Diploma in Public Administration or enrol in one of the School of Business diplomas or Bachelor of Business Administration programs.

Social workers are interested in social change and passionate about social justice. If you have a desire to help people in times of need or crisis, a career in social work may be the right path for you!

What you'll learn
Camosun College offers a two-year associate degree designed to help you pursue a career in social work. Your associate degree will include a a range of integrated courses, including sociology, psychology, women's studies, Indigenous studies, social policy and English.

As an associate degree student, you will have access to excellent academic advice; you'll have a definite learning path, but with room to explore along the way.

Explore arts and science
The Diploma in Arts and Science Studies allows you to design your own full- or part-time program. Discover your passions by taking courses from many disciplines, or concentrate on a particular subject area if you already have a specific educational goal in mind.

Chart your own course with the highly flexible Diploma in Arts and Science Studies. Choose a wide variety of courses, specialize in one area or take an optional work term to complement your education.

Work experience:-
During your Diploma in Arts and Science Studies, you can take a Co-op or Internship option to complement your studies.
You will gain practical work experience, which may be paid or unpaid, through either one four-month internship or two co-op work terms. You can take your work term after you have completed at least eight courses in the program.

You'll develop the skills and knowledge to work in the finance industry. This program provides you with a solid business education and a foundation in either a financial planning or corporate finance, covering areas such as business finance; investment analysis; money, banking, and financial institutions; client relationships and marketing; professional ethics; economics; personal taxations, and accounting.

Work Experience
You will gain practical skills and experience by combining your academic studies with relevant work experience in the Co-operative Education designation. You'll graduate with practical work experience and employer references. Employers value internship as a source of eager and well-prepared talent and often use the internship process as a means of recruiting permanent employees.

You'll gain a solid foundation in business management with the broad range of business courses and opportunities to develop competencies and practical management skills for today’s business environment.

Choose from transfer courses in more than 30 different subject areas. These courses will transfer to at least one BC post-secondary institution.

Whether you want to take one or two courses at a time, or register for full-time studies with four or five courses each semester, the University Transfer program gives you the freedom to design your own timetable. Generally speaking, you'll probably start by taking 100-level courses (first-year) and follow up with corresponding 200-level (second-year) courses.

If you look around any urban area, most of what you see is the result of Civil Engineering. Learn how to plan, construct, and maintain structures and public works, while respecting and responding to the natural environment.

In this two-year program you’ll be introduced to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and drafting techniques, surveying using state-of-the-art equipment, computer-based design systems and all aspects of project management. You’ll acquire the skills and knowledge you need for a successful career within the wide-ranging field of civil engineering.

In your first year, you'll learn the theoretical background necessary for civil engineering calculations. You will also learn skills such as AutoCAD drafting and surveying.
In second year, you will apply your background skills to civil engineering applications such as structural and municipal design, asset management, and properties of soils and materials. You will complete your program with a major design project of your own choosing.

Hands-on learning
Do you like looking at graphs? Do you enjoy disassembling things to see how they work or designing and building your own toys or gadgets? Our hands-on program will give you real-world technical problem-solving abilities. Your abilities in design and computer software will be a desirable asset to you as you advance in the workforce.
You'll have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and industry connections through our Co-operative Education and Internship programs.

The fast-growing world of electronics and computer technology
Missing admission requirements for the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology programs? Don't give up - this Access program opens the door to this popular Camosun tech-career program. Upgrade your skills in math, English and physics while you learn about computers, computer-aided design, electronics and test equipment. Successful completion gives you a guaranteed seat in the next intake of the program.

Applied learning
The long history of Camosun's Hospitality Management program's success is due in large part to a strong applied learning philosophy. The time you spend in the program will provide you with opportunities to apply what you will learn in an academic setting and gain real life hands-on experience.

What to expect
Our program will give you a strong business foundation, cutting-edge hospitality courses and two work terms. This is all combined to provide you with the expertise and practical skills needed to pursue a supervisory or management career in the hotel and food service industry.
You will select your path after completing the first semester. One stream allows you to complete the program in two calendar years, the other option allows you to complete the program in approximately two and a half years.
Year 1:- In your first year, your courses include business communications, hotel operations, introduction to management and Canadian tourism.
Year 2:- In your second year, you'll build on your foundation knowledge, develop your leadership skills, learn about hospitality law and complete a second work term.
