The Computer Network Electronics Technician certificate program has a practical career-oriented approach, giving you the knowledge and hands-on experience you need to be able to install, repair, and maintain computers, servers, computer networks, and electronic systems.

Skills you'll gain
You don't need any previous knowledge of computers or electronics to enrol in this program. By the time you graduate, you'll possess a wide variety of skills, such as: installation and maintenance of computer networking systems; maintenance and repair of personal computers; maintenance and repair of server systems; analog and digital circuit assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance; installation, repair, and maintenance of microprocessor-based equipment; and technical sales support.

Optional Co-op/Internship
The co-op or internship is an optional component of the program. It is paid work experience that can enable you to experience different employment fields and often leads to permanent employment.

The Sport Management Diploma is an applied, two-year program designed to provide learners with a solid foundation in sport management, along with the knowledge skills and attitudes necessary to succeed in entry level sport management careers. Sport and business management theory and skills, combined with applied learning experiences prepare graduates to practice ethically, responsibly and professionally in the sport management industry. 

Learning Outcomes
At the completion of the program students will be able to:

You will gain a broad range of marketing management skills and techniques, including context for strategic management and planning, and a focus on directing the marketing and communications process.

Year 1: In your first year, you’ll work through introductory–level courses in accounting, finance, economics, and marketing. Exit the program now with a Business Administration certificate or continue on to Year 2.
Year 2: In your second year, you'll be taking courses in marketing research, creative selling, and entrepreneurship. Exit the program now with a business administration diploma or continue on to the bachelor of business administration.
Year 3: In third year, the marketing major allows you to broaden and deepen your marketing skills and knowledge and you'll be taking courses in sustainable marketing, global business strategies, public relations, and communication tools & media.
Year 4: For your fourth year of the BBA, you'll be taking courses in strategic marketing, project management, digital marketing, and advanced communications.

The Centre for Sport & Exercise Education offers innovative programing in the areas of Sport Management, Sport & Fitness Leadership, Kinesiology, Athletic & Exercise Therapy, Massage Therapy and Adventure Education. Camosun’s Engineering Bridge programs are for technology diploma grads who want to continue with third year studies at UVic or UBC to finish an engineering degree. This is your next step to becoming a Professional Engineer.

Mechanical Engineers design and build machines and other products, such as robots, spacecraft, automobiles, artificial limbs, amusement park rides, elevators, and manufacturing equipment. If something moves or uses energy, mechanical engineering was probably involved in its design or production.

The Bridge to UVic study option is offered January through December. You'll start your third year of the Bachelor of Engineering degree program at UVic in January the following year.

Once accepted into UVic you will be required to participate in a mandatory Co-op, however, some work terms from your technology diploma may be transferable between institutions.

You will develop a foundation in leadership that prepares you for the strategic role HR professionals play in leading and influencing organizational performance. Applied learning experiences rooted in Human Resources principles are an integral component of this program.

The Electronics and Computer Engineering Bridge to the University of Victoria program is offered by Camosun College with the cooperation of the University of Victoria (UVic). Students with an approved diploma in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, can take this one-year program to upgrade their mathematics, sciences, and related engineering knowledge in preparation for entering the third year of Engineering at the University of Victoria.

If you look around any urban area, most of what you see is the result of Civil Engineering. Learn how to plan, construct, and maintain structures and public works, while respecting and responding to the natural environment.

In this two-year program you’ll be introduced to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and drafting techniques, surveying using state-of-the-art equipment, computer-based design systems and all aspects of project management. You’ll acquire the skills and knowledge you need for a successful career within the wide-ranging field of civil engineering.

In your first year, you'll learn the theoretical background necessary for civil engineering calculations. You will also learn skills such as AutoCAD drafting and surveying.
In second year, you will apply your background skills to civil engineering applications such as structural and municipal design, asset management, and properties of soils and materials. You will complete your program with a major design project of your own choosing.

Hands-on learning
Do you like looking at graphs? Do you enjoy disassembling things to see how they work or designing and building your own toys or gadgets? Our hands-on program will give you real-world technical problem-solving abilities. Your abilities in design and computer software will be a desirable asset to you as you advance in the workforce.

You'll gain valuable business skills while building on past learning. You will study a broad range of marketing concepts with opportunities to develop competencies in corporate communications & marketing, consumer behaviour, and services marketing.

Work Experience
You will gain practical skills and experience by combining your academic studies with relevant work experience in the Internship designation. You'll graduate with practical work experience and employer references. Employers value internship as a source of eager and well-prepared talent and often use the internship process as a means of recruiting permanent employees.
