BUSINESS MANAGEMENT prepares students for positions within the fields of accounting, marketing, business, human resources, project management, and office administration. CIMT, Brampton offers a unique undergraduate diploma in Medical Office Administration with Health Unit Coordinating which spans for a total duration of 8 months. The aforementioned diploma prepares students for jobs at hospital units and ward, clinics, medical offices, long term care facilities, and other allied healthcare settings. Under this program students are provided training in various aspects such as office procedures, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, word processing, and database management. 

Along with learning things such as hospital simulation software, transcribing doctors’ orders, psychiatry, and how mental health issues affect treatment and care, students are also encouraged to improve their communication skills, learn about medical software programs and develop a wholesome personality. Once students finish this program they will be familiar with the medical office environment, hospital hierarchy, departments as well as procedures. This diploma opens up a number of professional doors for the students such as Medical Office Administrators, Health Unit Coordinators, Unit Clerk, Ward Clerks, Medical Receptionists, Medical Secretaries and other related jobs. 

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN SALES AND MARKETING program will train students to evaluate the market trends, plan, direct and retail sales of the establishment that they will work for or operate. Students will get the essentials skills in problem solving, leadership capabilities, market research, analysis and planning, cross cultural management and international business culture enabling them to be successful in their professional careers. The practical and hands on training on computer applications will allow the students to nurture the necessary confidence in performing their specific roles in any organization.

CIMT, Mississauga offers students a Diploma in Early Childcare Assistant is an eight month long baccalaureate program that deals with children, their care and skill development. The Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) Diploma gives students the required knowledge to work with children and childcare centres. The program is exclusively designed for students who wish to take a career up in the same field and is headed by a team of expert professionals who have been working in the field of childcare and education from a long time.

This program involves gaining a better understanding about children, education, family and the overall childhood experience. The ECA diploma is headed by a team of teachers and faculty members who have years of experience in working with children and understand all the important aspects of the ECA program. The students are required to work collaboratively with children, families, colleagues and community to provide relevant and responsive caring and educational experiences. The employment prospects after this diploma are very bright, students can enter school level teaching in fact on completion of this degree students can gain employment as an Early Childhood Educator across Canada. 

Social and community service workers administer and implement a variety of social assistance programs and community services. Our Esthetics program was developed to prepare students with knowledge in skin care and human anatomy, nutrition, and the importance of bacteriology and decontamination to both the esthetician and client. Students will gain skills and experience in a variety of services, including nail technology, skin care, manicures and pedicures, make-up artistry, body treatments, and facials. An understanding of business management skills for salons and spas, along with basic computer skills, will also be covered. This program meets all Ministry of Training for Colleges and Universities Esthetics Subject Specific Standards, and is curriculum developed by the National Association of Career Colleges.

The program is designed to develop expertise over a wide variety of areas. Students learn about anatomy, physiology, pathology, histology and terminology to the provision of specialized esthetic treatments and services. They adhere to Occupational Health and Safety, hygiene, sanitation and Infection Prevention and Control Best Practice guidelines, industry standards and regulations. Students perform a variety of specialized skin and body care treatments being aware of procedure, room preparation, contraindications, safety precautions and maintaining client comfort and modesty. Students learn treatments like facials, body treatments, cosmetic massages, manicures, pedicures, basic make-up applications, lash and brow enhancements and hair removal.

A Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management prepares students for a career in many different areas of business management. Students receive in-depth insight into functional areas of management like marketing, accounting, human resources, finance, economics, as well as acquiring knowledge to provide critical input into making the management of any business a success.
