Training culminates with a seven-week, pre-graduate placement experience working with a registered practical nurse. Occupational Therapist and physiotherapist assistant work with the people who have limited functionality because of injury, illness, disability or aging. By enrolling into the Diploma in Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Assistant program, students will be helpful to gain hands on experience and to develop the skills which are required to work in clinical and community based system under the guidance of registered and excellent occupational therapist and physiotherapists.  

The program helps to develop skills in the areas of anatomy and physiology, rehabilitation practice, mental health concepts and techniques, occupational or physiotherapy skills, therapeutic exercise, function and movement specialized training, and human lifespan development.  By successfully undergoing the program understudies will be able to find employment in the sectors like hospitals, senior living centers, clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and extended care facilities.
