Capilano University has a School of Outdoor Recreation Management which provides undergraduate students a Diploma in Outdoor Recreation Management which spans over a period of two years. Anyone who is interested in outdoor activities, tourism as well as community relationships, this diploma is perfect for them. Under this program students receive experiential and outdoor education. The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is a two year long baccalaureate program that deals with children, their care and education. The Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Diploma gives students the required knowledge to work with children under the age of five in licensed preschools and childcare centres. The program is exclusively designed for students who wish to take a career up in the same field and is headed by a team of expert professionals who have been working in the field of childcare and education from a long time.

Once the student has successfully completed an ECCE diploma he/she is eligible to apply to the degree program. After finishing this diploma students are also eligible for the ECCE Registry for credentials such as ECCE Basic Certificate, Infant Toddler Certificate and Special Needs Certificate. 

Capilano University offers students a one year long Certificate program in Engineering for undergraduate students. It is a first year university transfer program and once students are thorough with this program they can seek admission in a post-secondary British Columbia institution. After finishing this course students gain direct admission in the second year of a four year Engineering program.

The Associate of Arts degree in Creative Writing is a two year long baccalaureate program which deals with contemporary literature, creative writing, reading, understanding basic writing concepts and many more. The Associate of Arts degree in creative writing is a great jumpstart for people who wish to pursue a career in creative writing, copywriting, proofreading, persuasive copywriting, freelancing and so on. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

The North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma (NABU Applied) builds knowledge about how to do business in North America for students from around the world.

International students and new permanent residents with an undergraduate degree completed outside of Canada can gain both North American business credentials and practical hands-on work experience in a North American organization.

This full-time program is offered in an accelerated format and includes a work placement practicum. Concentrations are available in marketing, human resources, international strategy & entrepreneurship and finance & investment.

The Rehabilitation Assistant program at Capilano University is offered by the School of Allied Health and is an undergraduate program that extends over a period of 2 years. The said program incorporates a number of important features which are to be followed by the students such as completing assigned tasks, use of appropriate language, time management, taking constructive feedback and inculcating practical skills necessary to fulfill the role of a rehabilitation assistant.

This is one of the few programs which combine occupational therapy, physiotherapy as well as speech/language audiology therapy. Rehab Assistants are mostly employed under acute care with the patients as well as at rehabilitation centres where the clients or patients need assistance in their day to day life. The age demographic of clients can be from infants to adolescents and can extend to elderly people. The Bachelor of Communication Major is a comprehensive course which deals with the basic concepts underlying communication and not just the practical aspects of it with great emphasis on community.
