The Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication is a four year long baccalaureate program offered by Capilano University. The Diploma in Arts and Entertainment Management is a two year long undergraduate program offered by the Faculty of Fine & Applied Arts at the School of Applied Arts, Capilano University. This is a one of kind program that provides students with opportunities to work in creative arts and entertainment industry. This ever growing and job oriented sector is a wonderful choice for students who wish to work in the same field in the future.

The first year of the course focuses on a wide array of course such as details about arts and entertainment industry, computer applications, production and design, event management, managing funds and finances and son on. The second year of the course takes a more complex and detailed turn as it involves a more practical experience with professional organizations. 

Biology is the science that deals with the physiology of being. It has explained and helps gain knowledge about a number of things such as evolution, flora and fauna, environment and ecosystems, human body and its functioning. The Associate of Science degree in Biology prepares a student for university education and helps them gain knowledge about the field.

The Associate of Science degree helps to prepare students for the provincial Associate Degree. The above mentioned degree helps students gain access to a package of well rounded; academically sound courses and also a university transfer to great BC Universities. The two year course includes a number of subjects and disciplines a student has to study. The first year involves a more general set of courses in subjects such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, English so on and so forth. The second year involves a number of more specific studies such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, ecology, cell biology and many such subjects pertaining to biology. 

Students have the choice of scheduling their courses and curating their own timetable. Students can study full time or part time as per their own discretion. This ability of scheduling one’s own time table helps students go for other activities and manage their academics at the same time. 

The Diploma in Acting for Stage and Screen provides students with the skills necessary to begin a professional acting career in theatre, television and film.

The first year is comprehensive and introduces students to acting for stage and screen, improv, voice, movement, history, and backstage work. In the final two years of the program, students concentrate on performance and professional skills as well as directing, acting in film projects and in Theatre department mainstage productions. The ASAS faculty are professional theatre and screen artists so the combination of this comprehensive training and studying with working professionals will increase the chances of success for the graduates of this program.

The two-year Accounting Assistant Diploma program gives students practical accounting skills, computer competence and basic management expertise that ensure success in the workplace.

Graduates gain a solid foundation in accounting/bookkeeping and general business knowledge with courses in management, quantitative methods, business law, finance, economics and communications during their second year.

Capilano University offers an undergraduate program, Diploma Tourism Management, which is a two year program that has produced a number of successful graduates.

The Certificate program in Legal Administration Assistant is a one year long undergraduate certificate provided by the School of Legal and Professional Studies at Capilano University. Students who are even remotely interested in the field of law and paralegal studies but do not wish to pursue lawyering as a profession can go for this certificate. The Legal Administrative Assistant program helps the students develop traditional administrative skills as well as legal procedural courses, including: civil and family litigation, wills and probate, corporate law, convincing and mortgaging, and legal office procedures.
