Capilano University has a comprehensive program for international students called Early Childhood Care & Education Pathway which spans over a period of 1 year. This program is designed as a result of collaboration between English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program. This program is specially designed for students who study at the top two levels of the EAP program. 

This program is exclusively designed for international students in order to work with their English speaking skills and help them gain credentials. The Pathway program allows students to begin getting credit for an ECCE credential which is beneficial when they wish to take up further post-secondary education. Upon successful completion of the Pathway Program, you will have earned 9 credits you can apply toward your ECCE credential.

Capilano University offers a one year long undergraduate diploma called Business Administration Pathway spear headed by the Faculty of Business and Professional Studies. The English for Academic (ESL) Program offers this course in collaboration with the School of Business. This program introduces students to the details and main principles of international business and business administration especially for international students. 

Along with providing credentials for business administration, this program also helps students to work on their English and improve it. This two semester program prepares students for a post-secondary degree in the said field. This program helps students earn a total of 15 points on their business credential.

The Diploma in Arts and Entertainment Management is a two year long undergraduate program offered by the Faculty of Fine & Applied Arts at the School of Applied Arts, Capilano University. This is a one of kind program that provides students with opportunities to work in creative arts and entertainment industry. This ever growing and job oriented sector is a wonderful choice for students who wish to work in the same field in the future.

The first year of the course focuses on a wide array of course such as details about arts and entertainment industry, computer applications, production and design, event management, managing funds and finances and son on. The Diploma in Acting for Stage and Screen provides students with the skills necessary to begin a professional acting career in theatre, television and film.

The first year is comprehensive and introduces students to acting for stage and screen, improv, voice, movement, history, and backstage work. In the final two years of the program, students concentrate on performance and professional skills as well as directing, acting in film projects and in Theatre department mainstage productions. The ASAS faculty are professional theatre and screen artists so the combination of this comprehensive training and studying with working professionals will increase the chances of success for the graduates of this program.

Capilano University offers students a one year long Certificate program in Engineering for undergraduate students. It is a first year university transfer program and once students are thorough with this program they can seek admission in a post-secondary British Columbia institution. After finishing this course students gain direct admission in the second year of a four year Engineering program.

The said program is like a foundation stone for students who aspire to become engineers in various fields like mechanical, electronics and communications, civil, computer science, Nano technology, and electrical engineering and so on. Along with top notch equipment and facilities, the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) is home to professional and highly trained faculty members who help students develop a clear understanding of concepts ad guide them at every step of the way. 

The eight-month Accounting Assistant Certificate program trains students in accounting, bookkeeping, computer applications and office procedures; and prepares students for the workplace.

You'll also participate in a 2-week work practicum with a local company.

The Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts is a baccalaureate program spanning for a length of four years and offered by the School of Motion Picture Arts. In this program, students are taught a number of things such as theoretical and technical knowledge about the field, development of critical skills, practical experiences with people from the industry and state of the art equipment for practical purposes. The Bosa Centre for Film and Animation is used for students to interact with professionals from the field of motion picture arts. 

In order to gain skills in different technical as well as creative departments students are taught a number of things by trained faculty members. Teamwork is also very significant for this program for students are required to do group projects in collaboration with fellow students. This way a student has the opportunity of learning and choosing from different areas of filmmaking. The up-to-date professional equipment that includes an 8000 sq. ft. sound stage, 3D camera rigs and a 3D editing lab open for students to use and work on.
