The Bachelor program majoring in Jazz Studies is a four year long program that deals with various aspects of the said subjects such as jazz performances, composing music and theoretical knowledge about music pertaining to the field of jazz. This degree deals with the playing, composing, teaching and conduction of jazz music. 

The two-year diploma comprises the first two years of the Bachelor of Music and gives students the skills to develop a career as a self-employed music professional. Students are taught about the history of music, about the influential figures in Jazz Music, research, analysis and notation of jazz music. Students are required to produce scholarly work that shows a firm contextual understanding of music theory and history as well as exercise self-discipline and a strong work ethic in the development of performance and composition skills.

The two-year Accounting Assistant Diploma program gives students practical accounting skills, computer competence and basic management expertise that ensure success in the workplace.

Capilano University offers a 2 year long baccalaureate degree in English called an Associate of Arts in English program. The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers a two year long undergraduate diploma in the field of Costuming for Stage & Screen. The aforementioned program is exclusively designed for students who wish to study the technical and creative aspects of costume designing and production for theatre and film. The course provides numerous opportunities for students to score jobs in the professional world owing to the practical experience provided in this program. 

Students learn a number of procedures and concepts involved in costuming such as costume history, textiles, wardrobe management and cutting and construction techniques.
