The Bachelor of Communication Major is a comprehensive course which deals with the basic concepts underlying communication and not just the practical aspects of it with great emphasis on community. The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers a two year long undergraduate diploma in the field of Costuming for Stage & Screen. The aforementioned program is exclusively designed for students who wish to study the technical and creative aspects of costume designing and production for theatre and film. The course provides numerous opportunities for students to score jobs in the professional world owing to the practical experience provided in this program. 

Students learn a number of procedures and concepts involved in costuming such as costume history, textiles, wardrobe management and cutting and construction techniques. The college is also home to a number of campus theatre productions as well as student film projects, through these projects students gain practical experience. The North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma (NABU Applied) builds knowledge about how to do business in North America for students from around the world.

This full-time program is offered in an accelerated format and includes a work placement practicum. Concentrations are available in marketing, human resources, international strategy & entrepreneurship and finance & investment.

The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers students a comprehensive two yearlong undergraduate diploma in the field of 2D Animation & Visual Development. This program is modeled on the concepts of drawing, art, design and classical animation techniques. Students learn about the basic principles underlying animation and its techniques. The faculty at Capilano is resplendent with professionals and experts who guide students at every step of the ay and help them gain professional experience. 

The visual development and animation industry is a very lucrative and fulfilling choice of career in the modern world and hence, students are prepared to face any challenges and trained in the best possible ways. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).
