The Bachelor of Performing Arts is a four year long baccalaureate program offered by the School of Performing Arts at Capilano University. The BPA program is co-administered by Capilano University as well as Douglas College and is one of a kind in the entire country. The Advanced Business Administration is a one-year certificate program. In this program, students will gain the basic management skills to start a business career or launch your own business. In the program, you'll take classes in many areas, including business law, entrepreneurship, small business management and marketing.

Upon graduation, you'll be able to ladder your credits into the Business Administration diploma or Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

The Diploma in Tourism Management for International Students is an undergraduate diploma program stretching over a period of 2 years. The School of Tourism Management at Capilano University has exclusively designed this program for international students who do not use English as their first language. Along with the theoretical and conceptual knowledge provided during this program, the most remarkable feature of this program is the 280 hours of practical, hands on experience, the field trips and guest faculty lectures which provide the students the ample knowledge to success practically in the field. 

Tourism has generated a large number of jobs and home grown businesses. Tourism is benign for developing and under developed nations which need money to help their economies grow. Students are helped with a number of skills in order be successful in the tourism industry such as acquiring practical as well as communication skills, selecting and using audience and purpose-appropriate communication strategies, spread awareness about responsible and sustainable tourism and gain knowledge about all aspects of tourism industry. 

The Diploma in Digital Visual Effects is a two year long undergraduate certificate program at Capilano University, School of Motion Picture Arts. The students of this program are trained and educated to design visual effects for films and television. With faculty members from high-end film, broadcast and software companies, Capilano University has excellent staff members who guide and advise the student at every step of the way during the course. 

The students of the Visual Effects diploma are required to work in collaboration with professionals from numerous other fields such as film, documentary, animation, costuming and cinematography programs for an even richer experience. During the second year of the program students are required to take an apprenticeship or internship in a professional working environment such as a studio where he/she shall be guided, observed and mentored by a professional providing them a chance to build up a network and gain experience. 

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) offers students a range of academic and education courses that blend theory and practice in the early years, engaging with research and theory.
Three core threads are intertwined throughout the degree: Curriculum, Childhoods, and Leadership and Advocacy. Students are invited to engage in critically reflective practice, working to create classrooms of social justice and equity for children and families.

Courses in the first two years meet the requirements of MCFD for:

• ECE Certificate to Practice
• Infant/Toddler Certificate to Practice, and/or
• Special Needs Certificate to Practice
• The ECCE degree is a pathway to elementary teacher education programs at SFU and UBC.

Learning Outcomes

• Demonstrate pedagogical practices that are connected to contemporary theoretical approaches of learning, thinking and teaching in the field of early childhood care and education.
• Work collaboratively with children, families, colleagues and community to provide relevant and responsive caring and educational experiences.
• Use ethical pedagogical practices that demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to local and global issues related to early childhood care and education.
• Engage in pedagogical practices that demonstrate mastery of the competencies required to be licensed and employed as an Early Childhood Educator in British Columbia.

The Business Administration Certificate Program teaches students basic management skills that have practical value in a wide variety of jobs.

The program requires successful completion of one required business course, two specialty business courses and a choice of three business elective courses (three-credits each) chosen from the School of Business course offerings.

Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.

Capilano University has a School of Outdoor Recreation Management which provides undergraduate students a Diploma in Outdoor Recreation Management which spans over a period of two years. Anyone who is interested in outdoor activities, tourism as well as community relationships, this diploma is perfect for them. Under this program students receive experiential and outdoor education. This diploma is a life changing experience for students who have the opportunity of combining their career and interests in the dame program. 

The Faculty of Global & Community Studies at CapU has designed a comprehensive curriculum, classroom interaction activities, class tours and work field trips with well educated, expert faculty members at the helm of the program, guiding students at every step of the way. Students are allowed to engage in activities that sharpen their skill sets, fostering community building, studying the major theoretical concept and a positive attitude in order to build a bright future. 

Capilano University offers a one year long undergraduate diploma called Business Administration Pathway spear headed by the Faculty of Business and Professional Studies. The English for Academic (ESL) Program offers this course in collaboration with the School of Business. This program introduces students to the details and main principles of international business and business administration especially for international students. 

Along with providing credentials for business administration, this program also helps students to work on their English and improve it. This two semester program prepares students for a post-secondary degree in the said field. This program helps students earn a total of 15 points on their business credential.

The North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma (NABU Applied) builds knowledge about how to do business in North America for students from around the world.

International students and new permanent residents with an undergraduate degree completed outside of Canada can gain both North American business credentials and practical hands-on work experience in a North American organization.

This full-time program is offered in an accelerated format and includes a work placement practicum. Concentrations are available in marketing, human resources, international strategy & entrepreneurship and finance & investment.

The Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts is a baccalaureate program spanning for a length of four years and offered by the School of Motion Picture Arts. In this program, students are taught a number of things such as theoretical and technical knowledge about the field, development of critical skills, practical experiences with people from the industry and state of the art equipment for practical purposes. The Bosa Centre for Film and Animation is used for students to interact with professionals from the field of motion picture arts. 

In order to gain skills in different technical as well as creative departments students are taught a number of things by trained faculty members. Teamwork is also very significant for this program for students are required to do group projects in collaboration with fellow students. This way a student has the opportunity of learning and choosing from different areas of filmmaking. The up-to-date professional equipment that includes an 8000 sq. ft. sound stage, 3D camera rigs and a 3D editing lab open for students to use and work on.
