The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

The Rehabilitation Assistant program at Capilano University is offered by the School of Allied Health and is an undergraduate program that extends over a period of 2 years. The said program incorporates a number of important features which are to be followed by the students such as completing assigned tasks, use of appropriate language, time management, taking constructive feedback and inculcating practical skills necessary to fulfill the role of a rehabilitation assistant.

This is one of the few programs which combine occupational therapy, physiotherapy as well as speech/language audiology therapy. Rehab Assistants are mostly employed under acute care with the patients as well as at rehabilitation centres where the clients or patients need assistance in their day to day life. The age demographic of clients can be from infants to adolescents and can extend to elderly people. The Certificate program in Legal Administration Assistant is a one year long undergraduate certificate provided by the School of Legal and Professional Studies at Capilano University. Students who are even remotely interested in the field of law and paralegal studies but do not wish to pursue lawyering as a profession can go for this certificate. The Legal Administrative Assistant program helps the students develop traditional administrative skills as well as legal procedural courses, including: civil and family litigation, wills and probate, corporate law, convincing and mortgaging, and legal office procedures.

Along with complete theoretical knowledge about various practices and concepts underlying law students are guided by a group of expert, highly professional faculty members who supervise and counsel students at every step of the way throughout the program. Along with academic and career guidance, students also get to experience the legal and corporate world by means of a two-week work practicum in a law or government office.

The Associate of Arts - Global Stewardship is a two year long degree program provided by Capilano University which offers students a number of diverse career opportunities. This course gives students a number of career options to choose from such as local community development, journalism, teaching, politics, nursing and business as well as international development (NGOs and IGOs).

This one of a kind program prepares the students for a number of challenges in the future and the students are equipped with the knowledge to change the world. The degree is spearheaded by a number of experts and great faculty members who work with the students and guide them at every step of the way. Graduating students have a vast array of options available, while some apply for an internship to gain further experience in the NGO sector others complete Bachelor’s Degrees in areas such as geography, political studies, international relations, anthropology, international development or social work.

Capilano University offers its students a four year long Bachelor’s degree program which majors in Liberal Arts. This baccalaureate program gives the students an opportunity to build their own multi-disciplinary with a number of courses from arts and sciences. The Bachelor of Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) offers students a range of academic and education courses that blend theory and practice in the early years, engaging with research and theory.
Three core threads are intertwined throughout the degree: Curriculum, Childhoods, and Leadership and Advocacy. Students are invited to engage in critically reflective practice, working to create classrooms of social justice and equity for children and families.

Courses in the first two years meet the requirements of MCFD for:

• The ECCE degree is a pathway to elementary teacher education programs at SFU and UBC.
