Capilano University offers its students a two year long baccalaureate diploma in the field of Technical Theatre. The aforementioned course is curated for students who wish to take up theatre and drama as their career choice. This program does not deal exclusively with acting and performance but also weighs on the other aspects of theatre such as the art of lighting, sound, scenic construction, prop making, scenic paint and stage management to produce numerous productions.

The English for Academic (ESL) Program offers this course in collaboration with the School of Business. This program introduces students to the details and main principles of international business and business administration especially for international students. 

Along with providing credentials for business administration, this program also helps students to work on their English and improve it. This two semester program prepares students for a post-secondary degree in the said field. This program helps students earn a total of 15 points on their business credential.

The Business Administration Certificate Program teaches students basic management skills that have practical value in a wide variety of jobs.

The program requires successful completion of one required business course, two specialty business courses and a choice of three business elective courses (three-credits each) chosen from the School of Business course offerings.

Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.

• Apply appropriate management practices and procedures including the computational, intuitive, creative and technical skills involved in screenplay development, breakdown, scheduling and budgeting for small-scale projects.

The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

Capilano University offers a 2 year long baccalaureate degree in English called an Associate of Arts in English program. Literature offers us a culturally diverse perspective of the world and offer us a more historical, political and social context of events. Studying literature helps an individual develop and hone their preexisting skills such as reading, writing, critical thinking and higher level of understanding. 

Under the Associate of Arts Degree the students study all kinds of literature from modern to classics and contemporary works of literature for two years. The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers a two year long undergraduate diploma in the field of Costuming for Stage & Screen. The course provides numerous opportunities for students to score jobs in the professional world owing to the practical experience provided in this program. 

Students learn a number of procedures and concepts involved in costuming such as costume history, textiles, wardrobe management and cutting and construction techniques. The college is also home to a number of campus theatre productions as well as student film projects, through these projects students gain practical experience. The graduates at Capilano University are well-qualified for entry-level positions in motion picture and theatre costuming departments. Students are also assisted with the construction of work specific portfolio in the costuming field. 

Capilano University provides a diploma in Classical Music which spans for 24 months. This two year program offers students a wholesome and creative environment to nurture their potential. This program is a unified whole of theoretical, historical as well as performance studies. Students are taught a number of instruments such as piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and composition.

This two year diploma is a transferable program and students can get transferred to a Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a post graduate degree in Music Education and Liberal Arts.
