The North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma (NABU Applied) builds knowledge about how to do business in North America for students from around the world.

International students and new permanent residents with an undergraduate degree completed outside of Canada can gain both North American business credentials and practical hands-on work experience in a North American organization.

This full-time program is offered in an accelerated format and includes a work placement practicum. Concentrations are available in marketing, human resources, international strategy & entrepreneurship and finance & investment.

Capilano University offers its students an associate degree in academic and applied psychology. This course offers students the opportunity to learn interpersonal relations, counseling courses, mental health programs and so on. The aforementioned course helps students gain the skills required for them to continue university education in the said field or start a career out of the same field.

The Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology is a two year program with numerous courses in fields such as psychology, English and multiple other courses pertaining to the field of arts. Through this course students have an access to excellent academic advising and counseling services. In lieu of fulfilling the university transfer requirements students can choose psychology courses as electives. Once the students have finished this two year long program, they can transfer to a longer baccalaureate program at other British Columbia education institutions. The Bachelor of Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) offers students a range of academic and education courses that blend theory and practice in the early years, engaging with research and theory.
Three core threads are intertwined throughout the degree: Curriculum, Childhoods, and Leadership and Advocacy. Students are invited to engage in critically reflective practice, working to create classrooms of social justice and equity for children and families.

Courses in the first two years meet the requirements of MCFD for:

• ECE Certificate to Practice
• Infant/Toddler Certificate to Practice, and/or
• Special Needs Certificate to Practice
• The ECCE degree is a pathway to elementary teacher education programs at SFU and UBC.

Capilano University offers a 2 year long baccalaureate degree in English called an Associate of Arts in English program. English is the most widely used language in the world and hence studying English can never go out of style and will always be professionally motivating. Studying literature does not only means employment in the world of academia but can also open multiple other professional doors such as creative writing, copywriting, fiction or nonfiction writing and other assorted jobs.

Under the Associate of Arts Degree the students study all kinds of literature from modern to classics and contemporary works of literature for two years. The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University offers a two year long undergraduate diploma in the field of Costuming for Stage & Screen. The aforementioned program is exclusively designed for students who wish to study the technical and creative aspects of costume designing and production for theatre and film. The course provides numerous opportunities for students to score jobs in the professional world owing to the practical experience provided in this program. 

Students learn a number of procedures and concepts involved in costuming such as costume history, textiles, wardrobe management and cutting and construction techniques. The college is also home to a number of campus theatre productions as well as student film projects, through these projects students gain practical experience. The graduates at Capilano University are well-qualified for entry-level positions in motion picture and theatre costuming departments. Students are also assisted with the construction of work specific portfolio in the costuming field. 

The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is a two year long baccalaureate program that deals with children, their care and education.
