College of the Rockies - Cranbrook Campus offers students a unique undergraduate diploma in the field of human kinetics or kinesiology. This two year long program provides professional training and clinical skill upgrading for current and future practitioners of Kinesiology. A number of important subjects pertaining to human kinetics are studies under this program such as assessment skills related to peripheral and spinal joints; exercise prescription for both healthy individuals and those with chronic disease; communication and leadership in the context of ergonomics and disability management; business, ethics, and risk management related to kinesiology.

The College of the Rockies Engineering Certificate is designed to satisfy the Year 1 requirements of undergraduate engineering programs at UVIC and UBC; it may also help you transfer into the engineering programs at other institutions.

This Engineering Certificate prepares you to apply for competitive admission to Year 2 programs; it does not guarantee a seat in those programs. You should always check with the receiving institution for details on course requirements and course transfer.

As with all of our Business Management programs, the General Management diploma infuses sustainable business practice knowledge throughout your courses. Sustainability is a priority for many in today’s global business environment. Upon completion of the General Management diploma, students are eligible to take advantage of block transfer agreements the College has with many other Canadian colleges and universities. Transfer is available to most Canadian post-secondary institutions on a case-by-case basis. Students can also enter directly into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Business Administration in Sustainable Business Practices degree program at College of the Rockies.

This major was developed for students who wish a high degree of flexibility in their course selection. As well as the required Business Management courses, students may select other specialized areas.

Note: Upon successful completion of all Year 1 courses, you can graduate with a Business Management Certificate.

This program addresses a wide range of environmental and sustainability issue such social risk identification, strategies for improving performance, sustainability issues and personal effectiveness to instigate and lead change. This diploma allows students to study economics, accounting, general management and marketing and develop more specific knowledge in sustainable business practices.

Along with face to face lectures students are also taught through online and hybrid courses ad well as practical, hands on experiences in laboratories.
