Concordia University offers an undergraduate degree program in philosophy that spans for a total of four years. Philosophy deals with the study and analysis of multiple aspects and problems about existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language. This course centres on developing the linguistic skills, critical thinking ability, a better understanding of the subject and a solid point of view.

This program helps students understand about meaningful human interactions and relationships, the functioning of the society and the cultural crossroads of the society. This program raises questions about concepts such as happiness, love, family, work, justice, truth, beauty, and progress. Ethics is also an important aspect of philosophy and students are educated about it as well. CBU’s Philosophy program develops meaningful skills in researching, observation, interviewing, critical thinking, and cross-cultural understanding. This program helps students to seek employment in multiple fields such as academics, property development, social work, advertising, marketing and so on. 

Concordia University offers students a four year Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology where a student studies multiple subjects such as English, Sociology, Psychology and a multiple other subjects pertaining to general knowledge and education. The aforementioned course offers training in the field of academic and applied psychology as well as a number of other counseling courses.

You will explore the diversity of the field including food and drinking water safety, waste management, air and soil quality, communicable disease control, emergency response and occupational health.

Environmental Science is the study of interactions within ecosystems, both terrestrial and aquatic. As the world changes, scientists in this field are paramount to proactively assessing the implications and mitigating risks to the fauna and flora inhabiting those environments.
In studying Environmental Science, you will partake in discourse around the nature and characteristics of the major environmental issues prevalent in such environments. The focus of learning in this topic is to concentrate on what causes these problems, and develop the resourcefulness to propose solutions.

Several of Environmental Science courses are offered in alternating years. The Environmental Science Course Rotation shows which courses are offered each year and which are offered every other year.

The Bachelor of Arts in Drama is a program that deals with the genre of drama and its influence on literature. The three year undergraduate course in drama is a one of a kind, seemingly interesting degree that has been specifically curated by the faculty at Concordia University of Edmonton. This course deals with theatrical productions of classic plays as well as modern plays and educating students about the various aspects of dramatic literature. Students are introduces to multiple practical, ancient as well as contemporary aspects of drama. Students are informed about the literary as well as technical facets of dramatic literature.
 
Technicalities such as stage management, behind the lens activities as well as the intricate details of playwriting are shared with the students. CU has the most elaborate and one of the best drama programs in the country. Students also have the option of participating in workshops and One-Act Play Festival held in the fall and winter semesters. A number of career options open up for students such as digital forensic investigators, cybersecurity professionals, IT Security Consultants, and security testers.

The program allows you preparation time for writing the certification exam for Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). After completing this program, students are also eligible for certification exams such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) as well as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
