Our curriculum provides the knowledge, skills, and professional development for success as a fire services recruit, and the foundation for further career progression opportunities in this important area of public safety. 
With a focus on professionalism, integrated skills acquisition through simulation-based training and inter-professional collaboration, students build towards internationally recognized credentials (National Fire Protection Association - NFPA) relevant to careers in fire suppression and also prevention through training in public education. They also develop critical thinking, situational performance skills, and lifelong wellness practices that enhance their personal and professional development and adaptability, serving as the foundation for ongoing learning, and adding value and lowering risk to themselves and to prospective employers.

This four-year, co-op Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) program is designed to prepare students to manage international business endeavours and work in global companies. At the end of Year 2, students have the option of selecting a major in Human Resource Management (HRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Marketing Management (MM), Sustainability Management (SM) or continuing in the general stream. This program is designed for graduates of technical degrees or diplomas to explore further studies across the realm of energy management. You will gain an understanding of various technologies and means of power generation through simulated software and theoretical studies. In this program, you will have the opportunity to explore how core technologies in gas and steam are combined with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. Theoretical calculations in thermodynamic heating systems are compared with actual field measurements in heating systems to provide you with ample practice opportunities in applied utilities management strategies, where energy management and conservation strategies are assessed as part of utilities optimization. The program helps you develop leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex industrial processes and teams effectively to meet business goals. You will study quality assurance and process and project management with a focus on meeting challenges in an industrial environment from operational and strategic perspectives. During your final semester, you will participate in a capstone course where you will work in teams to collaborate, plan, and execute a full energy consumption analysis and develop a proposal for energy efficiency improvements for a company incorporating studies and methods you have learned over the prior three semesters.

Located in the technology hub of the country, Game - Design places you in the middle of the action with access to industry standard software and technology. Taught by faculty with extensive experience in the game world, this program is designed to provide you with a strong set of skills and knowledge for game design, gameplay programming, and employment across various parts of the production pipeline. Through individual and collaborative projects, the program also offers the chance to build a portfolio of original work, and a field placement opportunity to help you take your first steps into the industry.

Imagine pursuing your passion in the highly creative profession of visual merchandising. Visual merchandising is 'marketing' and 'branding' - designing and creating visuals to sell a product or service. It is the process of creating an inviting and interactive environment for the consumer utilizing a variety of mediums.

You will study fashion trend forecasting, costume design, colour theory, prop-making, drawing and painting, event planning, mannequin detailing, photography, graphic design, scale modeling, planograms, window display and commercial merchandising. This two-year diploma program focuses on project-based, hands-on learning for the creative problem solver! You will use cutting edge industry software to design three dimensional spaces and planograms.

If you are passionate about design and decorating spaces, you will enjoy learning the latest skills in our state-of-the-art studio complete with a 'retail store' within the space. A field placement opportunity is provided to gain industry career experience before graduating, most often leading to full-time positions in the field of visual display and merchandising.

This two-semester Quality Assurance Manufacturing and Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate will provide you with the knowledge and techniques to improve the delivery and quality of goods and services. This program focuses on the use of modern quality improvement and problem solving methods that support the achievement of performance excellence in manufacturing and associated business processes. Computer animation has evolved to become a major component in the field of animation production and contributes towards shaping content for film, television, games and online applications. Traditional design, drawing and storytelling skills are enhanced via the latest computer (software/hardware), combined with 3D animation skills and the creation of characters and customized environments contribute towards the creation of unique content that graduates will utilize in their e-portfolio of project work.

This program provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effectively in entry-level bookkeeping positions in business and industry. The program focuses on day-to-day operational bookkeeping and managerial accounting in a computerized business environment.

Accelerate your career by learning best practices, tools, techniques and cutting-edge technologies to be a successful Business Analyst in today's data-driven digital economy. The role of the business analyst is evolving from just gathering requirements to one helping align and drive organizational strategy. In this Ontario College Graduate Certificate program, you will discover how to enable change in an organization by articulating needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. You will develop the ability to write detailed requirements for system changes and enhancements and ensure system changes are well tested by developing test cases and managing defect resolution along with coordinating user acceptance testing.
