The second semester allows you to work in interdisciplinary teams to implement your skills in an applied research impact project. In addition to this hands-on experience, you will have the opportunity to expand your real-world practice through an optional co-op term.

Process Quality Engineering
This advanced-level graduate certificate program provides individuals with the knowledge and techniques to improve the delivery and quality of products and services. The material that is taught in this program can be applied within any area of an organization. The focus of this program is on the achievement of performance excellence through the use of modern quality improvement methods. The program develops the skills required to perform process quality roles in a broad range of organizations and sectors.The program content aligns favourably with selected American Society of Quality's (ASQ) Bodies of Knowledge. This program is non-industry specific as it provides the proficiencies demanded by organizations in today’s market place.

Conestoga College's Business Supply Chain and Operations for Commercial Trucking program will prepare you to work with clients, border crossing agents, and their internal team to be an asset to the supply chain process and optimize business efficiencies and relations. In this program, you will focus on trucking operations, logistics, and business principles. Some of the areas of focus include transportation communication, customer service, freight calculations, hours of service, e-logging legislation, geography, logistics business practices, and driving simulation. Your learning will ensure you are well-prepared for a career specifically in the transportation sector in Canada. Graduates are positioned to begin their AZ licensing with an affiliated 3rd party trainer if commercial driving is their career goal.

In just 30 weeks, graduates of the Data Processing and Reporting program are prepared to assume roles entering and organizing data in an office role. You will develop the skills and strategies required to interact with customers in a professional and appropriate manner in a diverse business environment. This Ontario College Certificate program prepares you to use various electronic data applications, while gaining hands-on experience to organize data, visually present data, develop basic data reports, validate accuracy of data and support digital marketing platforms. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities, you will develop the workplace interpersonal skills needed to support all phases of your career. A field placement is included; allowing you to translate theoretical knowledge from the classroom into applied practice in a workplace setting.

Global Hospitality Management
The Global Hospitality Management graduate certificate program is open to international students with a background in hospitality. This program will complement an already earned diploma or degree in business, hospitality or a related field, and enable applicants to gain a work visa in Canada. Graduates of the Global Hospitality Management program will develop more management and operational ability specific to the hospitality industry and provide graduates with opportunities to obtain a supervisory or management level position in hospitality organizations. The program will focus on essential management and operational areas needed in hospitality organizations through an exploration of theory and practice in the field of management. Students will earn a TrainCan Food Safety Certificate, Smart Serve (responsible alcohol service) Certificate, and WHMIS as part of the core curriculum. The optional co-op stream includes one co-op work term instead of the Guided Career Management course.

This program is designed to equip students with a strong management aptitude and the expertise needed to work in a variety of careers in the nutrition and food industries. This innovative program emphasizes the evidenced-based nutritional care of people from all ages and stages of life, providing instruction in community and clinical nutrition management, as well as in the marketing and promotion of nutritious living. Students will further receive instruction in food service and human resource management, highlighting innovation in menu development, customer service and product selection. Financial management of food services, food safety, food sciences, professional practice and quality management will be integrated throughout the program, to best prepare students for the food and nutrition workplace. Instruction will include integrated online, classroom, and simulation opportunities, to provide students with the opportunity to practice their practical skills prior to entering into the workforce. Additionally, students will participate in a hybrid practicum placement in food and nutrition management in the final semester of the program to consolidate their learning.

The Bachelor of Design is a four-year degree in visual design with a complement of courses in entrepreneurship, marketing, and management. The program will ensure graduates have both the creative and visual acuity, and the knowledge of business strategy, that are necessary to create design solutions for current market needs. Conestoga’s Bachelor of Design is unique in Ontario for offering students a truly interprofessional perspective that blends visual design, entrepreneurship, and liberal studies courses with co-op opportunities, enhanced studio space, printing facilities and access to advanced technology, as well as state-of-the-art on-campus facilities. Limited enrolment and small class sizes ensure student access to faculty with professional experience in the fields of visual design and business development. As a comprehensive design program, students take courses in typography, visual design, colour theory, design studio, drawing and illustration, photography, interactive design, as well as entrepreneurship, branding, marketing, business management, writing and presentation skills, and group dynamics. The program employs a project-based learning approach that addresses design and entrepreneurship skills, as well as a variety of prescient issues including accessibility, sustainability, and corporate and social responsibility. This two-year diploma program prepares students for professional practice in the field of early learning and child care. Through interactive classroom learning and integrative field placement experiences, students will develop skills that will enable them to work in collaboration with families, colleagues and communities for the purpose of designing, implementing and evaluating inclusive play-based early learning programs. Career Development Practitioner is a three-semester (one-year) graduate certificate program that prepares graduates to enter the career development sector. The world of work is rapidly changing and new careers are emerging to meet current and future workforce needs. Career Development Professionals provide information, advice, and guidance related to career exploration, skill acquisition, job search, and maintenance. This one-year graduate (three semesters) certificate program provides training to enter and/or advance in the field of career development such as career and employment advisors, career resource specialists, job developers, or career management professionals. This program may also appeal to practitioners working in the field who want to gain additional formal training, job coaching experience, or attain their Career Development Practitioner designation. Graduation from the program provides the full academic component and partial fulfillment of work experience hours for certification by the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario (CDPCBO).
